Control's Alan Wake-Inspired DLC Arrives on PS4 Later This Month

Well if you wanted me to play Control, you could have just said Alan Wake from the start! 😅

I love seeing Alan Wakes face pop up in a Playstation trailer. Really hoping we get a remaster of the first game since Remedy owns the rights now.

@Ken_Kaniff seems like a no brainer but still nothing. Fingers are crossed they have an announcement when you beat the dlc.

I am waiting for the inevitable PS5 release since I read articles describing that it will run better on that system.

To those who have played or own the game, how does it play/run on PS4?

Alan Wake was my favorite 360 game

@Eadgar I played in ps4pro when control was on psnow and I rarely ran into performance issues. Can't speak for the base console though.

@Eadgar it runs great on my pro. Frame drops here and there if there are a lot of enemies, but not annoying to me at all. Such a great game and really hasn't received enough love.

I started playing it when it was on PS Now and liked it so much I bought it. It does have issues on the base system but it definitely didn’t stop me from enjoying it and platinuming it either. Also bought the season pass so I’ve played the first part of DLC and that was awesome too. Can’t wait for AWE.

Now we just need a Alan Wake remaster for PS4 and PS5 and then a Alan Wake 2 for PS5.

@Eadgar took me about 30 hours give or take...I love exploring everything...
