The current NBA season may finally be on the cusp of its conclusion when the LA Lakers take on the Miami Heat later today, but basketball fans still have plenty to look forward to with the release of NBA 2K21 on the PlayStation 5 later this year. While it won’t come as a massive surprise, 2K Sports has confirmed the title will Euro-step to the next-gen console from 12th November in the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. It’ll launch elsewhere on 19th November.
In addition to the release date confirmation, the publisher also debuted what appears to be the first in-game screenshot from the next-gen release, showcasing New Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson’s sick fade. Remember, if you bought the Mamba Forever Edition of the basketball simulation, then you’ll be eligible for a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade.

OH MY GOD THERE'S SWEAT ON HIS FOREHEAD
GOTTA PREORDER NBA 2K21 FOR THE PS5 TO GET THAT NEXT GEN EXPERIENCE
CLEARLY THE PS4/XBOX ONE ARE TOO WEAK AND FRAIL TO PROCESS THE POWER OF FOREHEAD SWEAT.
@TheFrenchiestFry yeah but not sure about his face model and body model. i am worrying about player model look same like current gen
@TheFrenchiestFry Sweaty men playing with balls? It’s just my PS5 mum, I swear!
This'll probably be the cost game I play while waiting for everything else to download. Really wish they added in cross gen play, looking forward to it regardless though!
Bit concerning how the first screenshot is a man screaming in pain.
Ghost of Tsushima had sweat, but next gen NBA has next gen sweat.
This game should not be associated with next gen. More like Next Game
November 19: Rest of World.

Remember, if you bought the Mamba Forever Edition of the basketball simulation, then you’ll be eligible for a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade.
