Ubisoft’s has not just blown the doors off Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – it’s burned its figurative house down. This new Rockstar-style deep dive trailer outlines everything you can expect from the upcoming Viking-themed open world, including the plotlines you can expect to encounter, the settlement you’ll be able to upgrade, and the battles you’ll be able to engage in.
At a whopping 7-minutes, this video breaks down everything you’ll experience next month, when the game releases on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. While there’ll be few revelations for franchise fans, the title’s clearly looking like a superbly polished sandbox as it nears release. Will you be raising your sword to this one at launch? Let us know in the comments section below.

It looks brilliant and hopefully they have pulled it off without the typical Ubisoft trappings. I have Cyberpunk and Spider-Man for launch but this is looking favourite over Demon Souls or Sackboy for my third game with the console
Looks good, interested in this after I'm done with ps5 astrobot, demon's souls, miles morales, and ghost 60 fps patch
If it was a Viking game and not an Assasins Creed Viking game Id be all in.
This is the first trailer where I’m like, ok, this is starting to sell me on it...
Is Assassin's Creed even about assassins anymore
I've been out of the loop since like Syndicate but this could've been way cooler as a new IP instead of slapping the Assassin's Creed name on it
Assassins creed origins and odysey is amazing.so this one will also.word up son
@TheFrenchiestFry No not really.... Only AC game I've been playing is Unity.
Not much sneaking..............the Assassin creed name is as important now than the original concept of sneaking about .........still im biting a day 1 for me.
Wasn’t interested in this from the previous gameplay trailers. Thought it sounded good but looked janky. This has totally changed my mind. Feels like there’s been a lot of polishing going on. May be a day one for me now
This game is still a ways off for me in the queue but it looks nice.
This trailer just sold me on this
Have this pre ordered for ps4 pro. I expect it'll look as good as origins and odyssey, at the least. Very interested to watch some digital foundry analysis, to see if ps5 and XSX can actually hold a solid 60 fps at 4k.
Still the horrible horse galloping animation from 100 years ago.
@playstation1995 Yeah, played origins and odyssey a ton. Great game and bang for the buck.
Can't wait for this one.
Have they said if something akin to cultist hunting is returning? I enjoyed the hell out of that. l
@Agramonte. Cool avatar.speaking of pac man .remember pac man world for ps1.that game was amazing.word up son
There's No Ps5 ad?
Same ol same ol.. why they didnt fix the character animation,, still look stiff and i think they didnt use new engine.. well i hope for ps5 they upgrade it well enough.. by the look of it it didnt change much except the story & places.. i might be wrong
Looks very good. I do not know if I could buy it at launch, but as soon as possible I will.
I really liked origins and odyssey, enough to get the plat for both, so im definitely getting this one. Ive actually liked every AC game ive ever played, i have never understood to hate. Haters gonna hate i reckon. ☺
@TheFrenchiestFry
Short answer; yes.
Longer answer; it's about the same conflict just under older names. The Hidden Ones (proto Assassin Brotherhood) try and keep the remnants of the Isu civilisation, the Piece of Eden, from being abused and used against Humanity. The Order of Ancients (proto Templars) want to find and use the PoE to subjugate and control Humanity.
It's about freedom vs. control, the same as it's always been.
