If you're a PlayStation fan, you'll absolutely want to take a look at Astro's Playroom on PS5. Not only are early impressions very positive, but it seems the game is being packed with love for the brand and its first-party games.
In this gameplay video from IGN, it's easy to spot loads of references to other PlayStation properties, and it's just wonderful. Japan Studio has gone to town on including easter eggs on all kinds of Sony games and devices. Collectable "artifacts" mean you can find things like old-school controllers or other peripherals throughout the stages, but more fun are the game references. Just from this above video, we've spotted easter eggs for God of War, LocoRoco, Concrete Genie, Fat Princess, Uncharted, and more. Even Metal Gear Solid gets a nod, as do the rubber ducks from old PlayStation tech demos.
And this is just from the first half of the above video. We imagine the entire experience is stuffed with even more of these fun references that fans will love. What do you think of this? Do you like all these PlayStation easter eggs in Astro's Playroom? Tell us in the comments below.

They're so damn cute. The Resident Evil one brightened up my morning.
This game looks so beyond gorgeous.
Kick, punch, it's all in the bot...
I watched about a minute of it before closing the video, don't want to be spoiled but the game is super adorable and very pleasing on the eyes.
Lmao the Fat Princess easter egg was hilarious
It looks bit Mario sunshine with that hover jet thing , looking great though
I also noticed a Puppeteer reference in the background. This game's going to be too much fun.
Watched the lovely Rosie play on Access and her enthusiasm is infectious. A must play for sure and all the Easter eggs are a fun touch.
I hope Kratos bot becomes a skin in God of War 2.
Wow, given that it's just a throwaway pack-in game, this actually seems like a half decent platformer.
Surprisingly this looks like it might not just be a tech demo but something that's actually fun to play.
