Multiplayer has officially come to Beat Saber, but only on PC so far. The hit virtual reality rhythm game has received a big, free update that introduces online multiplayer for up to five players. It's available now for users with PC systems, with the promise that the mode will come to PSVR soon. However, it seems it's a little further away than the developer planned.
In a couple of tweets, studio Beat Games has apologised for the prolonged delay of the PSVR version of the multiplayer update. It now projects that the mode will become available in January "if everything goes to plan".
While it's obviously not ideal, it seems the team is working hard to get it done. At least Beat Saber PSVR fans have something to look forward to. Are you excited for Beat Saber multiplayer? Brush off those Move controllers in the comments section below.

I love my PSVR but Quest 2 is doing it for me at the mo.
Bring on PSVR 2.
Ohh sweet, happy to wait for it tbh, will be playing on the ps5 so no rush. Didn't know they had a mp planned so nice suprise. Haven't played it in a while might dust those move controlers off soon.
Cool, but custom songs on psvr is what I really want.
Haven't looked into it so I'm not even sure what multiplayer entails in this game. It may be an eagerly awaited addition for some but I'm in no hurry. I'm perfectly content just flailing away in my living room all on my own.
But hearing they are also working on new music packs is nice. I'd heard rumors of a BTS pack which sounds horrendous to me but, if true, it will probably be just as fun as the rest of the music packs I incorrectly predicted would be garbage.
Uhh it’s for oculus too btw...
Anyways I hope it becomes cross platform for all!
