Destiny 2: Beyond Light is just a few weeks away from its 10th November release date, and the anticipated expansion just got a brand new story trailer. As we've come to expect of Destiny's cinematics, there are a lot of dramatic cuts synced to dramatic music, all while aliens talk about doing evil things.
Speaking of which, Stasis, the new element that's being introduced in Beyond Light, will be utilised by your enemies as well as your allies, so make sure to pack some warm clothes for next month's excursion.
Oh, and a quick reminder: less than one month after the launch of Beyond Light, Destiny 2 will be getting its free next-gen upgrade on PS5. Will you be waiting until then to jump in, or will you be grinding the new content as soon as it hits? Take aim in the comments section below.

Will pass the time until Cyberpunk 2077 comes crashing in on my PS5
Cant believe they didn't have the next gen update ready to go with the launch of Beyond Light. Its so slow on console, getting in and out of menus when on timed missions kills me.
So much loading in thr game like gta otherwise solid fps title.... Looking forward to the new expansion....
@starbuck2212 I was half tempted to buy a new SSD for my PSPro but I gave up and bought a gaming laptop with NVME instead. Destiny being free there and Xbox Game Pass coming was just too tempting... until I get a PS5 I suppose
Yeah you made the right decision. Cant wait for the update on December though. The field of view slider, 60fps, faster menus. Ill be in
heaven.
Actually they said the faster menu due to ps5 custom ssd nv.me will be noticeable without the next gen update. The other stuff like fov slider and 60 fps comes out dec 8th. Ive been using samsung EVO 860 SSD on my ps4 pro for the past 2 yrs so i probably wont notice much of a difference i think. But maybe you guys will, it was pretty fun when i would load into raids before the whole team and then id be doing nothing for 5-10 mins pretty much. Also i get a head start on strikes its really baffling
@I_Like_It trust me theyre only playing it because of the new expansion dlc is about to come out. If it was any other day you would rarely see anybody on. I had 8 pages of friends when d2 first launched. After every dlc they shrunk all the way down to 1 or 2 pages. Ima guess what will happen to the next 10 yrs of content bungie promised.
I just want to play the savathun dlc and maybe see what the remastered OG D1 raids will look like. VOG and Kings fall better be good. Maybe ill download D1 again if d2 bores me.
