DIRT 5 might provide a messy drive in all its off-road events, but getting the platinum Trophy looks like a clean victory. The PlayStation 4 Trophy list has emerged online, and unless we're mistaken, it looks as though it'll be pretty simple to grab all those trinkets.
That's not to say there's no challenge whatsoever. There are some very straightforward ones, such as customising a vehicle livery and your player card, or creating a course in the Playground mode. Then you have some harder tasks like doing a 100m drift, reaching level 50, and driving 10,000 miles in total. If anything, those last two seem like they'll take time rather than challenge your skills. You'll also need to play through the career mode of course, and complete every career event.
Again, it seems like it won't take rally fans much effort to Platinum this one. See the full Trophy list for yourself through the link. Presumably the list will be identical on the PS5 version, but be careful — your save data won't transfer from PS4 to PS5 in this game.

Yea that looks pretty easy platinum to get, think it will take a while for some of them but nothing seems too bad tbh. Looking forward to playing this on my ps5. I may might actually re download dirt for a blast tonight actually.
Definitely looks simple and painless. Probably will double up since save files won't carry over. Can't wait to play it!
16.000km is not that smooth.
So is the trophy list shared on PS4 and PS5? Meaning, I don't have to re earn them?
@Stoffinator I think it'll be two separate lists.
@Quintumply no it is only one list because it is a upgrade to the PS5 version.
What’s people’s view on the non save transfer across ps4 and ps5 games? I don’t see it being an issue for next-gen games, because both versions are going to be slightly the same with a tad difference on the ps5. I mean if you’ve got a ps5 pre-ordered is just stick with the next gen upgrade and wait! 😌
@jamberino93 exactly. I will wait for the next gen version.
@jamberino93 With longer games like RPG's ill just wait with playing them on the PS5. I agree its annoying.
@ORO_ERICIUS yeah agreed. I saw Xbox making jabs at Sony for doing this as this applies to Spider-Man and stuff and I’m like why the fuss behind it? You are paying for the game missions and everything but just slightly upgraded that’s it? You may Aswell just wait for the next gen title version.
But if you are playing on ps4 for slightly longer then the current gen will be for you! Every gamer is different but for me as soon as I’m finished with a game I tend to move onto the next!
@Flaming_Kaiser Yeah 100% I mean every gamer is different and may want to transfer games but my personal view I just don’t see the point apart from the difference being smoother gameplay and looking better! But trophies / storyline is the same! Just depends if you got lucky enough like myself to get a pre-order
@ORO_ERICIUS no they are separate trophy lists because your saves dont carry over, confirmed here...

@jamberino93 For me its time i dont have a lot of it and i rather play two great games then one two times. 😆
Horizon Zero Dawn is a fantastic looking game but im not going too play it again for 100 plus just for better looks and a better framerate. The game was fantastic but those two things wont make it better if i have too play it a second time.
@hoffa007 sorry but no. Saves have nothing to do with trophies. There is nothing mentioned about that. Only liveries and so on...
DiRT 2 was my first platinum trophy. ^^
@Stoffinator
I believe it’ll be two lists, so you can earn them twice over if you wish.
@ORO_ERICIUS if you read the sub header it says but you will get new trophies thats where I'm getting the info from and no saves have nothing to do with trophies thats obvious but as the sub header states we will get new trophies. In reality if progression doesn't transfer then you will earn new trophies because you are starting from scratch anyhow.
@hoffa007 well don' t get me wrong here but I do not trust headers. I trust truetrophies and official announcements. Until then we will have to wait I think.
@ORO_ERICIUS thats alright, I know what you mean though with it all.
