Update: It's not just Giannis who's joining Madden NFL 21, but also his brothers Thanasis and Kostas – all three of whom are professional basketball players. They're available in the Yard now!
Original Story: EA Sports sure is enjoying is bizarre crossover events this year. Hot on the heels of boxer Anthony Joshua and DJ Diplo being added to FIFA 21, it’s teased that Milwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming to Madden NFL 21’s arcade-themed Yard mode. For those who don’t follow sports closely, the Greek Freak is a basketball player who grew up playing soccer – he has nothing to do with the NFL.
Judging by the teaser trailer that the publisher uploaded to Twitter, Antetokounmpo will come with his own threads and presumably events. We suspect the company’s got more crossover events planned throughout the year. To be honest, we don’t mind this kind of thing in concept, but franchise fans may be frustrated that EA Sports is putting time into adding basketball players rather than improving the core experience on the field.

They're so going to reuse that Anthony Joshua model, aren't they? Then he'll be in UFC 4, FIFA, and Madden — but not an actual new Fight Night!
It came as a suprise to me when Thanasis left the Greek team I support to join Giannis' team since he did not contribute that much in the club. More on topic I don't know how NFL plays but I always find those kind of guest starring fan.
