If you’re on a Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales media blackout after the incredible Spider-Cat clip, then know that we completely understand. Everyone else, though, may want to enjoy this new cut-scene which sees the titular hero hook up with Peter Parker as the pair escort a violent villain across New York City.
There’s a few seconds of swinging gameplay in this, and we can see how Miles’ technique differs from Parker, who’s a veteran web-slinger at this point in the series’ timeline. Look at how Morales wobbles and flails around in the air – it’s a really nice touch from Insomniac Games that demonstrates how the new character is effectively learning on the job.

Am I the only one who doesn't care for Spider-Man games?
@skaarj217 And yet you clicked on Spider-Man related article and felt the need to comment?
@skaarj217 Probably not...? Not everything is for everyone.
@skaarj217 I like the new one but then again I got it for free when it was bundled with my ps4, anything is much better when it's free. To answer your question, probably not
That's a nice touch, miles is inexperienced compared to peter, it's cool watching this on gameplay and animations 😃
Silly question but I’m planning on keeping my PS4 pro as a spare so am I better off buying the PS4 version to get the ps5 version free then stump up the extra money in game to get Spider-Man remastered, so I’ll be able to play miles morales on both consoles? I presume you don’t get the PS4 version free if you buy the PS5 one?
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk Depends on if you care about getting the enhanced rebuild of the first game, then you need the deluxe version for PS5.
@dexter419 I’m sure it states on the blog that you can buy it in game if it’s been upgraded from PS4
