Earlier today, we got a glimpse of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay running on an Xbox One X and Xbox Series X. The PlayStation counterparts to those two consoles are very likely to look and run extremely similar, but it won't be too long before we get a look at the real deal. A press release has confirmed that footage of Cyberpunk 2077 running on Sony systems, presumably highlighting both PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5 gameplay, will be released in the near future.
It reads: "A PlayStation gameplay video is also planned for release, with a specific date set to be revealed in the near future via the game’s official channels." So, make sure to look out for that one. We will, of course, provide coverage of the gameplay right here on Push Square. Do you think there will be any noticeable differences between the PS5 and Xbox Series X footage? Debate away in the comments below.

It's freakin' unbelievable that in two days I'll be playing on my PS5 !
Base footage is what we really need to see tbh.
World and environment looked great, but some of the character models looked janky as heck...Keane Reeves looked like a refugee from the PS3 at times...not in any rush for this one at the moment.
@Bytemare Ummmmmmmmmmm Uhhhhhhhhhhhh...... Yeahhhhhhhhhhh
I've been looking forward to this for so long, and that footage earlier was not super promising. I'm starting to think first person was a blunder. I'm still going to pick it up, but my expectations have been significantly lowered. I really wish we could get an upgrade date.
The braindance bit at the very end of that gameplay was scary. The audio is top notch.
Would have to be a very near future............fingers crossed this Thursday.
@ApostateMage I heard that was the only drag in the whole game so far.
@DualshockInfinit
Should we tell them?
@PegasusActual93 let them hold on to that hope. I wish I could wipe that yellow background memo from my mind so I could look forward for my week off of work in a couple days where i will not be playing CP2077 or ps5.
It didn't look great on the XB1X and was slightly better on the XBSX. I think it's definitely a case of waiting for the proper next gen patch in 2021 - as this was a case of a struggling current gen version and a struggling current gen version running on new hardware without optimisation for that hardware.
The combat looks epically bad, and its so slow that it would be better off as a VR game.
Not gonna lie I was a little underwhelmed by the world and the showcase today. I'm sure the writing is superb but I still wanted to be wowed by the visual like I did with the Witcher 3.
@God_of_Nowt Yeah I can't help but think they bit of a bit more than they could chew. I really hope I am wrong too as I do really want this to be amazing but I will wait for the reviewers i trust first cause sometimes gamers can view things through tinted glasses (like "OMG, this has Keanu reeves so it gets an extra point. I love Keanu, he is so awesome (even if his dialog and part ends up tanking in the game)).
There is just something off about the game. Maybe it doesn't demo well or something and it shines with personal play but time will tell.
It seems as if they had ridiculously high ambitions for this game but then realised that the majority of gamers don't own high-end PCs that have cost thousands of £/$ to build and subsequently have had to scale back on their plans.
I'm sure it will still be a good game and enjoyable to play but for some people that will be a disappointment such was the hype about Cyberpunk.
Gameplay...along with another delay announcement. Haha. This game is a joke.
Gonna wait for PS5 version, perhaps PS4 version will be cheaper by the time PS5 version comes out. Assuming there is no time limit on the free upgrade anyway.
My disappointment senses are tingling. I can't quite put my finger on why, but something just feels off with this game now. As a lot of other people have said the world looks really empty. I was so hyped for it, but now my expectations have been severely lowered.
@PegasusActual93 Let the man dream a little longer...
The game looks very mediocre now.
@Bytemare lol
I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this. I still have a base PS4 and games like jedi fallen order do not play well. I'm hoping to upgrade to a PS5 asap if I'm having serious issues with it
@Ah-Void honestly im really disappointed with seeing johnny silverhand. He looks like a late ps3 character and doesn't look good in lighting. The rest of the game looks good (not amazing, even on series X) but considering he literally lives in your head, i expected better. Hopefully the games will run well
Can't wait to see CDProject prove all you jaded a-holes wrong.
@LordSteev Same here! In CDPR, I trust!
Game already looks pretty good to me on One X. Will be playing on either PS5 or Series X though, since I have both of them.
@MisstressBrea
Yea, people forget how much better CDPR gets with every game they make. They are maybe the only developer left who tries to improve on everything they've done in the past. I think this may end up being the best game released not just this year, but for the next 5 or so.
I'm buying on the 10th, then ignoring my friends and family until Christmas day. Christmas is on the 10th this year for me, anyway.
