The Nioh Collection will be bundling together remasters of both Nioh and Nioh 2 for PlayStation 5 next February, and if this new loading demonstration is anything to go by, the titles will fully take advantage of the system's SSD. The series' Twitter account has posted a new video showing off how quickly the collection can load levels on PS5, and well, the results speak for themselves. We're talking mere seconds here, meaning you'll be back in the action quicker than ever.
As well as that, the PlayStation Store listing has revealed some new screenshots taken from the PS5 version. Picked up by Gematsu, some of them are embedded below for your viewing pleasure. Don't forget that those who own Nioh 2 on PlayStation 4 will receive a free upgrade to the next-gen version, and the same goes for any of the DLC pieces you have too. Nioh Remastered, however, will need to be purchased on its own or as part of the collection as a whole.

Excellent. I just hope they make great use of the haptics in the Dualsense!
freed from this mortal coil!!!
I can't wait to throw my controller at this beautiful beautiful game.
My wee brother started playing Nioh this week. Watching him die to the bat lady never gets old 😂
Game already loads super fast! I can’t even finish reading the blurb about the history context before it’s ready and loaded
I'm ready to jump in again if they are separate trophy stacks!
Does anyone know if this is getting a physical release?
Will be my first Nioh experiences, I hear great things about it, and many even say combat is better than Souls games, just that Souls atmosphere and level design is superior.
@nessisonett It took me so long too get it right but when it clicks the game is brilliant i think even better then with Dark Souls atleast for me.
@Omnistalgic It kicks you in the nuts and somehow in the end you like it. 😅
@Flaming_Kaiser I don’t think it was quite as good as Dark Souls 1 or 3 for me but it really is a brilliant game. I did tap out at the postgame tag team bosses though, they were absolutely brutal.
I hated DS1 im not at DS3 yet but Nioh clicked with me somehow its so hard but you want too keep trying somehow i dont have that with DS1.
With Demon Souls i kept playing and i finished it several times but with DS1 i still have not finished it completely because i keep losing interest.
And the game is a maze for and i just dont care for it. Im not saying the game is bad but it just does not stick with me.
Im a weird guy but look at GTA besides Vice City the games arent for me. I want too say im done with the game and i can move on i have no interest in going on indefinitely and if you played one its all the same. RDR that game was so boring too me but Manhunt the first one was brilliant for me. I know im insane. 🤪
