God bless, Insomniac Games. Not only has it given us two incredible PlayStation 5 launch games as part of the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, but it knows how to poke fun at itself. Back when Marvel’s Spider-Man released on the PlayStation 4, IGN had a laugh with the title’s “boat people”, who resembled GoldenEye 64 character models.
You can watch the original video here:
Well, they’re still there in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, but with a little extra touch. The developer has added a sticky note to the terrifying models, with the note: “Did you miss us?”
It’s a fun Easter egg and a reminder that Insomniac Games is not only creating great games, but it’s also having a ton of fun doing it. We can’t wait to see what secrets Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart holds!

Thats brilliant 😂
I wouldn't want it any other way!
But does it still have the marriage proposal? I booted up the PS4 Spider-Man recently to prepare for Miles Morales & the original proposal is still there!! 😱😱😱😂😂😂
OURUMOV & VALENTIN ZUKOVSKY!!! I just can't forget those names 😆😆
@HoodedSpirit I still feel bad for that guy tbh
That's how you do Craig right.
This is so much better than quietly updating the models. It also fits the never too serious tone of Marvel.
The sticky note is too good lmao.
*reference to Spiderman 2 boat models fyi
Love it. Great sense of humour from Insomniac there!
Definitely Donald Trump Jr's face
@KozPar that makes far more sense than a non existent link to goldeneye
I'm glad they kept them that way lol
I'm glad they didn't fix that, wouldn't have it any other way.
A ***** game making fun of the greatest game ever made wheres the funny part?
@RIGORR_MORTIS I enjoyed Goldeneye when I was young, but I'd much rather play SpiderMan if given a choice between the two... You're welcome to your opinion, even if it is clearly biased and jaded.
@RIGORR_MORTIS hmm goldeneye isn't that good anymore
