Remember The Good Life? Swery65's photography RPG all about cats has been hanging around for quite some time now following a successful Kickstarter campaign all the way back in May 2018. Fast forward two and a half years and this latest update has handed the game a summer 2021 release window on PlayStation 4, with The Irregular Corporation publishing. We've also got a new trailer to watch, embedded above.
And, well, it looks rather framey, doesn't it? Of course, this is pre-release footage so we wouldn't advise making a final verdict on the title based on 68 seconds of gameplay. Still, it's not a wonderful first impression. At least it looks pretty weird though — the character is shown riding a sheep and then turning into a cat. It's definitely got the odd factor going for it then. What do you make of this trailer? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

That’s quite the Microsoft PowerPoint frame rate. Still, it’s pre-release and SWERY has proved he can make brilliant games despite absolutely dreadful technical issues!
Not that I had any interest, but I had totally forgot about this game!
And while I do agree that the first impression is nothing to write home about, I mean, it's Swery 😂
The man eats jank for breakfast, so I don't think it's gonna be more polished than that when it releases lol
The performance looks like some tech demo tour de force compared to Deadly Premonition on the Switch, his last game.
I backed this way back when on Kickstarter, so I'm hoping this turns out good.
A low Framerate is pretty characteristic for a Swery Game tho lol
I think it looks rather charming for a 3-D indie RPG despite the technical issues. As long as it isn't a $40 plus game I'll get it, if not I'll wait for a sale.
I don't know how I feel about it yet. I'm a major cat person, but we'll see what happens.
That frame rate has got to be fixed on the PS5 though, even if through backwards compatibility. The only game that can and should get away with a janky framerate on PS5 is EDF.
They disabled comments on the video after people pointed out the FPS drops OOF. I had commented the following.
Dev Team: How many frames per second do you want?
Swery: Yes
