Ubisoft has delayed the online mode planned for Watch Dogs Legion to early 2021 so that it can "focus on fixing issues with single player". The multiplayer offering, which plans to offer four-player co-op and the classic Invasion mode from the first game, was planned to arrive next week. There's no word on whether this delay affects the paid season pass content also planned for release.
In a post on the official Ubisoft website, the French publisher said: "As part of our commitment to fixing the game’s issues, we’ve decided to delay the Online mode of Watch Dogs: Legion to early 2021. This will allow us to focus on fixing issues with single player, and it will give us more time to test the Online experience to help ensure a smooth launch of the mode." This update will be replaced with patches to improve performance and squash further bugs and glitches. "Watch Dogs: Legion has been an incredible journey for us, and our teams are working very hard to make it the best experience it can be."

The online mode is strangely fun in 2, I think it’s because it just takes place in the form of random events in your world. It doesn’t take you out the story or require any loading screens. Hiding in plain sight in the invasions never got old!
looking forward to this
I really enjoyed it in WD1 but this game is just lacking all the fun hacker stuff.
Aw man, I'm done with single player
Invasion mode was already slated for 2021 anyway, hopefully by then it'll be in another sale.
I'm ok with watch dogs 1 just love it!
