Folks, it finally happened. The most important PlayStation 4 game not playable on PlayStation 5 at launch has only gone and gotten itself a patch that adds next-gen compatibility. This means that Joe's Diner is now playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility! Update 1.01 fixes the problem, weighing in at just over 500MB. The patch means the list of All PS4 Games That Don't Work on PS5 has reduced once again after the developer of TT Isle of Man — Ride on the Edge 2 confirmed it would be working on support for Sony's new machine.
Will you be celebrating with a fresh playthrough of Joe's Diner on PS5? Grab a party hat in the comments below.

Yeah, I'll be playing it right after Knack 2
@Blacksmith1985 Knack 2 is actually pretty brilliant. Have you played it???
@fR_eeBritney agree knack 2 was a lot of fun played through it with my daughter
Haha, this is cool! Kudos to the developers!
But what about Deals With It? It's the most important ps4 games that isn't BC on ps5 😛
Kinda forgot about this game lol Last time I heard about it was a promise of an Xbox One port, which hasn't happened yet strangely enough.
Regardless, kudos for the devs not forgetting their game. I wonder what they're up to now.
Never even heard of this game.
There’s a fan for every game. I’m glad to see the list of non-backwards compatible games continue to shrink.
The picture in the article does not look like it would go with a game callled joes diner. What is this game about?
A game I would like to see get patched,(whether directly or via the b/c mode itself being patched by Sony), would be the Aladdin/Lion King compilation. Was one of the 100 odd titles labelled as "it runs but with notable glitches", never really heard much more on those games getting fixes or not?🤔
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games was on the list of 100 "bootable" games. It just got a patch that fixes whatever the problems were.
Has got will do
@get2sammyb serious question. What is joe’s diner for a kind of game? Is it actually good/mediocre? I’ve seen the physical in a store recently and the coverart looked compelling and off quality.
@darkswabber From what I have read, the idea is that you are on a night shift, tasked to keep the diner tidy all while those spirits terrorize the place. Is a good concept but the execution is rather weak. It's mostly trial and error, and it's barely even scary. It's like it's trying to be like FNAF, but fails to understand what made that game successful.
Regardless though, it's a lot better than the dev's previous game, that's for sure.
@RevengeFan Patch just came out? What's the version number?
@Wormold Yeah can't muck about with Trico either anymore!
@TechaNinja I think it's 1.02, but I don't have it installed nor do I have a PS5. But, the warning isn't on the store page anymore.
That reminds me I need to play shadow complex remastered, which was formerly on the list
@fR_eeBritney yep, me and my son finished that together after the first knack was his first step in to gaming. Loved every minute
I saw the headline picture and thought... AH HA so THIS is what that guy who broke into the Capitol building thinks he looks like (in his head).
