During the latest Japanese Fighting Game Roundtable, Bandai Namco announced Tekken 7's next DLC character... Kind of. We don't have a face and we don't have a name, but the incredibly brief teaser trailer embedded above shows a brand new fighter from Poland.
The release window is 'early spring 2021', so we should be hearing much more about this mysterious combatant in the near future.

Well it’ a nice teaser! And Poland sure needed some representation- they have a very active gaming scene.
I wish all ongoing fighting games would receive ps5 patches to run even better
👀
At least they made my city look nice
I was disappointed in T7. Mainly because of character design – everybody looks so buff and clunky, and the wardrobes are just getting more and more ridiculous.
A ultimate edition like Mortal Kombat would be nice, who wants to buy like 20 different season passes like the egregious DOA6.
Haven’t touched a fighting game ever since they became egregiously monetized, no regrets! Waiting paid off just Bought MK11 Ultimate edition for $30 usd
Tekken 7 is my last entry I'll buy. They act as free-to-play titles, not AAA. Street Fighter V is screwed especially with loading screens, but Tekken destroyed itself by meaningless dozens of dlcs.
@djlard The game is superb even if you don't touch any of the DLC. I know I haven't and don't plan to.
Why won't they bring back team battle?
@naruball That is only thing, why I'm not so angry as for SF V. I must say T7 has absolutely fantastic soundtrack (especially drum'n'bass tracks) and except last battle (that unbeatable Casanova or how she is called) it has quite good gameplay.
@stefan771 yeah, tekken tag was my favorite and I don't usually like fighting games with teams. For some reason that one just worked for me.
It's a shame they have ruined tekken with all these paid dlc's. Used to be one of my favorite games, definitely used to be my favorite fighting game series. ☹
@JapaneseSonic I don't expect that to happen but I think it would work. There's enough landmarks to build the map around them and there's enough variety in the city's architecture to make it interesting.
@naruball I totally agree. I stopped buying dlc after the first one because it's not necessary. You only need to buy dlc if you want the new characters or stages. Since it takes nearly a lifetime to get proficient with a single character, unless you have a real driving desire to change, once you have your main, you can ignore dlc. In my opinion T7 is the best fighting game since T3.
