The Phantom Thieves Go All-Out in Persona 5 Strikers Launch Trailer

Persona 5 Strikers kicks into full gear when it launches on PS4 next week, and the game's launch trailer is here for one last burst of hype before release. The footage isn't really anything new, but the backing music? Utterly fantastic. Worth watching for that rocking guitar alone!

In case you missed it, we gave the game a 'great' 8/10 in our full Persona 5 Strikers PS4 review earlier this month. it's a must-play for existing fans of Persona 5, and it does a pretty amazing job of adapting the persona formula for a more action-orientated experience.

My copy got dispatched yesterday 😀 so excited.

Have to laugh watching the trailer given the scene in the casino palace in Royal where Joker is surrounded by about 7 enemies and the rest of the gang exclaim that there are too many enemies for him to deal with on his own.

Joker would surely be dreaming of facing just 7 enemies looking at the scrum he faces here lol

@Rob_230 If Strikers Joker was in P5/Royal he probably would've killed all the SWAT members waiting for him at the top of the ladder he was climbing to escape the casino lol

Very, very excited to boot this up this evening. I've just hit Christmas in Persona 4 Golden too. I think I'm going to hit the ending next as there's no way I've met the requirements for the Golden content.

Started playing this today already after buying the digital deluxe version.Absolutely loving it as expected.

Loving the combat, loving the character interaction and writing.....but damn is this game ugly. Looks like a 3DS game.. I knew it was going to have aliasing issues but it seriously gives me a headache to look at during dialogue scenes. Have to focus my eyes on the textboxes.

Also confirm is O instead of X. Maybe an overlook from localization and may later be patched in?

When you interact with items/people in the game world it has O for examine or talk

@TheFrenchiestFry haha that's certainly how it looks from the trailers! Can't wait to get stuck in. Just need to finish my playthrough of Royal and then i will dive straight in to Strikers

@Goat_FromBOTW Yeah, that’s what I thought. I didn’t get beyond rank one with her. I’m guessing I’ll end up with the vanilla ending which I’m ok with. I’ll look the rest up. Partly I’m just a bit burned out from playing 5, 3 and 4 back to back. Looking forward to something a bit different with strikers.

@Jayslow Well the game does have to run on the Switch in handhandle mode. So the game was probably built with that in mind and then scaled-up for PS4 and PC.
