Rust’s long-in-development console port will embrace PlayStation 4 on 21st May, with pre-orders open now. The game – which will be playable on PS5 through backwards compatibility – has been a long time coming, but finally debuted gameplay footage earlier in the month. There will be several tiers available at launch, including a physical edition.
For those of you just looking for the basic experience, you’ll need to shell out £39.99/$49.99, and you’ll get access to the Future Weapons and Tools Pack for your troubles as a pre-order bonus. A Deluxe Edition will also be available for £49.99/$59.99, featuring the above in addition to a Welcome Pack, three days early access, and closed beta access.
Finally, for those of you who’ve been really looking forward to this one, you can grab the Ultimate Edition for £69.99/$79.99, which includes everything already mentioned, as well extra bonuses in the Welcome Pack, an Elite Combat Skin Pack, and 1,100 Rust coins to spend in-game. You can check out a pre-order trailer embedded above.

Played the beta and to be honest, I don't like it.
Nobody is friendly in the slightest.
You start with nothing at all, and anyone who sees you kills you.
Tried and tried again but I can't manage to get anywhere with it.
Shame as it's a good idea. Just not for me.
Do we know yet if there is local co-op for this?
@God_of_Nowt Nice to know, thanks.
I might give it another go
I’m definitely getting this!! Just recently picked it up on Steam and it’s a blast, no controller support though so the PS version is gonna be even better for me.
I was hoping it was gonna be slightly cheaper so I’ll wait for the first sale. It’s crazy how wildly different the pricing can be between Steam and PS4.
@God_of_Nowt That's good to know, thanks.
Just pre-ordered it.
I might just take you up on that.
My PSN is wR_sixtee6
Thanks
