It looks as though Bandai Namco will be joining its peers with its very own digital showcase. The publisher has registered a new trademark for something called Bandai Namco Next, which is almost certainly going to be a live broadcast in which the company delivers news on upcoming releases.
Akin to something like a State of Play or Ubisoft Forward, we anticipate this is Bamco's own show through which it'll provide updates on its own IP. Perhaps what's most exciting about this is that, right now, the rumour mill is whirring about Elden Ring, FromSoftware's next action RPG. Currently, the internet is abuzz about a leaked gameplay trailer. Could it be that the game will make its long-awaited return during Bandai Namco Next?
At the time of writing, this is all unconfirmed, but with all this hubbub, it seems fairly certain that we'll be hearing official word soon enough. Obviously, if this does turn out to be a livestream of some sort, plenty of other games could make an appearance, but Elden Ring is long overdue an update.
What do you think? Will be all be tuning into Bandai Namco Next in the near future, or is it something else entirely? Tell us in the comments section below.

i hope so this has been getting snippets of info wrote about it for a while now.
Presenting Elden Ring gameplay would automatically make their Direct more interesting than the recent Sony and Nintendo ones.
Dark Souls 2 on Switch is what I'm hoping for. I just bought it on PS4 but I'd much prefer playing it portably.
Some news about Tekken 7 maybe.
@RBMango just like presenting God of War: Ragnarok or Horizon Forbidden West gameplay would have make Sony's State of Play better.
C'mon.... of course showcasing gameplay of any anticipated big game would do that to any presentation. Your statement is kinda silly and obvious, no offense.
Xenosaga Trilogy. Saddly it will probably never happen.
give us Elden Ring boysssss
Klonoa is all that’s needed.
After the last disappointing Bamco "event", I am not getting my hopes up at all.
Hopefully they announce big things that change my mind.
