LittleBigPlanet

The online functionality for LittleBigPlanet titles currently isn't available right now, and according to Eurogamer, it's all because one fan isn't happy with how Sony has treated the franchise. The person in question is said to have brought servers to their knees through orchestrated DDOS attacks, forcing them to be taken offline. The official Sony XDEV Twitter account has acknowledged the issue, stating: "Our LBP servers have been taken offline whilst we investigate some technical issues. We'll be back as soon as we can!"

Speaking to news editor Tom Phillips at Eurogamer, LittleBigPlanet fans claim the individual has taken various entries in the series offline in the past. They are also believed to be the reason why social media site LBP.me has remained unavailable since November last year. Strangely enough, though, the attacker is apparently not targeting LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita. Or maybe they just haven't gotten around to that entry just yet.

While LittleBigPlanet 3 was the series' last entry back in 2014, Sackboy has been given a new lease of life with PS5 launch title Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Perhaps the person in question really liked the Play, Create, Share aspect of those previous games? We'll be sure to update you all once LittleBigPlanet titles become playable online once more.
