Lost Soul Aside, the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 character action which went viral a few years ago, will almost certainly feature during Sony’s Chinese press conference this week. A countdown on developer UltiZero Games’ social media accounts – as spotted by Gematsu – appears to be building anticipation for the Japanese giant’s 29th April Shanghai livestream.
We know that China Hero Project updates are planned for the broadcast, and the Devil May Cry-inspired release is one of the flagship games in that initiative. It’s possible that the release may also feature during a new State of Play on the same day, as Sony has teased that there will be “updates on a pair of indie titles” in addition to a Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart gameplay blowout.
We’ll obviously share any new footage and gameplay here on Push Square; let’s hope this latest update comes with a release date attached.

I loved Lost Soul Aside when I played it years ago. Really cool mix of Devil May Cry combat, Final Fantasy aesthetics, and Kingdom Hearts music.
A new State of Play and a new Chinese showcase in the same day, then we have Returnal to look forward. This is going to be a good week.
Awesome. Been so long since we heard anything from the game.

@BansheeNorn You call me a liar and then say F U when I prove you wrong. Good, mature response.
