BioWare's Mac Walters has broken the news that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will have a photo mode, allowing you to pause the game and capture your favourite moments. Considering how many memorable scenarios the Mass Effect trilogy has, this can only be a good thing.
Walters also shared a screenshot, showcasing the newly announced photo mode. The on-screen controls confirm free camera movement, focus, and what look like all kinds of editing options. It all seems to be fairly in-depth.
So, how many photos of Garrus will you be taking? Try not to get too excited in the comments section below.

I’m going to be playing this collection for a long time 😅
Good thing everything is getting delayed.
Man, that's a beautiful smile!
Now if they put dualsense support this would literally be the best game in the galaxy.
This is definitely shaping up to be a great remaster. I’m sure I’ll take plenty pictures of my favourite store on the Citadel!
Uh oh. Someone [cough, @RogerRoger , cough] is going to be happy about this.
This collection is going to have so much potential to lose lots of time in.
archangel, miranda , vorcha or barla von poster lol i dont bother with these things but theres interesting scenery in this trilogy the landscape of the project overlord level. and the silly facial expressions 🤣 besides we see them when you pause a youtube video at a random time lol. oh the Normandy desktop wallpaper!!!!!
I don't mean to sound negative but can anyone explain the appeal of photo mode? The only time I have ever accessed it in any game was to unlock the trophy. Am I missing out on an important part of the gaming community?
@Shepard93n7 especially in the bedtime scenes!
@Pinkman
not the only one never seen the appeal
Nice, we can get good shots of Miranda's bum.
@TuckNorris85 ha ha good one photo mode o'plenty 😂
I'm definitely getting a pic of a fish in the Presidium lake so I can show my Krogan friend.
@ApostateMage Hi there friend.
That joke gets me every time in Mass Effect 2.
The Krogan are such an adorable species.
But the Assari though.
Like James said in ME3: "A planet full of Blue beauties". Who wouldnt want to live there? 😉
Can´t wait to cry, laugh and cheer with the whole squad again.
Cheers, stay safe good folks and happy gaming to us all
