Atmospheric narrative game Hitchhiker, in which you play as an amnesiac riding shotgun along a dusty highway, will hop aboard the PlayStation 4 from 15th April – after attracting rave reviews on Apple Arcade. The award-winning mystery sees you piecing together your memories “by catching rides with strangers across the country who provide clues to your character’s past and solutions to various environmental puzzles”.
This is more of a passive experience than your typical first-person title, but no less engaging: “The narrative-driven interactive gameplay revolves around five distinct Hitch-hiked rides players take trying to recover lost memories through dialogue with an eclectic mix of drivers, each with their own quirky character traits.”
There’s no word on a price just yet, but we’ll check in with publisher Versus Evil and try and get confirmation of that. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer embedded above.

If you have Apple Arcade, it’s on that already.
Pretty good narrative game. You’re mostly interacting with dialog. Not so much of a “game” but watching the story unfold.
@awp69 Thanks, I might check it out there
This has the whole "main character is already dead" vibe to it.
Has my interests, but i need to know more.
