Capcom knows a thing or two about this, of course, as it’s been designing iconic heroes and villains since what feels like the beginning of time. Lady Dimitrescu, the tall terror from the upcoming Resident Evil Village, is just the latest in a long line of success stories from the Japanese publisher.

And the company is making sure she gets around: a new Twitter emoji purchased by the firm has catapulted the franchise up the trending charts today, as fans seek to see a familiar face in their messages. We actually really love how this emoji looks – there have been some rubbish ones recently (look up #Bethesda and you’ll see what we mean) but this little Lady Dimitrescu icon is great. Money well spent, from where we’re sitting.
