Can you believe we're already at the half-way point for 2021? The first half of the year seems to have vanished into thin air, and with the gaming release schedule warming up, it's not going to slow down. There are some very exciting PlayStation 5 and PS4 games heading our way — let's take a look, shall we? Here's what you can look forward to over the next couple of months.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade - 10th June
Cloud and the crew are already making a comeback with Intergrade, the enhanced PS5 port of the acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake. Coming as a free upgrade for owners of the PS4 game or available as a "new" PS5 title, this is the action-packed revival you remember with an extra level of sheen. Various visual improvements are made here, such as better textures, fog effects, and lighting, and it gets a bump to 60 frames-per-second. That's not to mention the DLC that introduces Yuffie, included with new purchases.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - 11th June
The next big PS5 exclusive is almost here, bringing Ratchet & Clank back at long last. The action platforming duo returns, and their latest adventure is looking extremely promising. Making full use of PS5's features, like super-fast loading and the DualSense's fancy haptics, it's shaping up to be a true next-gen showpiece. The dimension-hopping gameplay looks ridiculously good, and mysterious new character Rivet seems like a great addition. We seriously can't wait for this one.
F1 2021 - 16th July
Codemasters has been successfully making great Formula 1 games for years now, and the latest entry is just around the corner. F1 2021 will be the first in the franchise to arrive on both PS5 and PS4, and it's a sure-fire winner for fans of the motorsport. It'll of course feature all the current season's tracks, teams, and drivers, and you just know the gameplay behind the wheel will be top notch. For the petrolheads among you, this is a very safe bet.

No interest in FF7 but R and C can't come quick enough.
Sony are smashing this new generation so far.
You're missing Necromunda: Hired Gun. Physical is June 30th i believe the digital is sooner
@Danloaded digital 1st of june...preordered and waiting for the timer to countdown..ratchet and clank whilst not my kind of game looks really cool..
I will play both FFVIIR Intergrade and Ratchet and Clank! Best month!
Defs be checking out the complete edition of Metro Exodus on Ps5
@ElMarko Same here.
No love for Ninja gaiden collection i see? Never bought an R&C game for £50 so there is no chance i'm paying £70 just because it's pretty or fast. I thought the price of the ps5 paid for that privilege?
I'll get Ninja gaiden if it's a decent port otherwise i'm happy to wait for all of this lot
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a given, but I may well pick up FF7 Remake Intergrade on PS5, as I currently only have the Plus freebie with no upgrade. Guilty Gear Strive, Cris Tales and Hoa also interest me.
Anyone know how much the standalone dlc for ff7 remake for ps5 will be? As I'll be picking that up plus ratchet and clank
I definitely will get ratchet ps5 and yuffie dlc, it's only $20 since I already have ff7 remake digital version
Oh, and the red dualsense too if it's available in my country.
Also preordered Necromunda: Hired Gun for Tuesday. Looks awesome!
Got ratchet & clank and the FF7REMAKE preordered...i can't wait. I belive im due the free upgrade of metro exodus on 18th as well.
@Residentsteven @Loftimus I got it from shop.to for £64
Ratchet and Clank is in my Library waiting to be downloaded. It comes out on my Birthday.
@awp69 Well ACG shared some first impressions and they were quite positive. Hopefully it's another AA hit from Focus!
@The_New_Butler with digital i can't even go out and buy a cheap second hand copy of ff7r to upgrade (sold my disc version when i got ps5) . Surely the deluxe edition upgrade for £15 should unlock the ps+ version then we all pay £20 for the dlc. I can't see anybody who has already played it on plus, paying £70 for a patch and some dlc. Let's hope square use their noggin
I can’t wait for Scarlet Nexus!!
I don’t see it listed.
Can't believe we're so close to Ratchet. I'm getting so so hyped
@velio84 i dont think there are any plans but it does play at a constant 60fps apparantly on the ps5..
Ratchet and Clank Physical Pre-ordered to be delivered to my door day one. That's about it for me.
Scarlet Nexus? I think that's out 25th June.
The only thing they have coming out that interests me is Horizon Forbidden West.
Ready for Ratchet and Intergrade! Hopefully going to get some time to blast through the Scarlet Nexus demo today, so I can see if I’m looking to that one or not too.
Hope Hoa gets a demo too. I like the aesthetic of that one. Been a fair few months since I’ve been truly impressed with an indie, so I’m hoping one of them bucks that trend soon!
Oh, and also, I’m sure this list’ll grow after E3
Huge Ratchet And Clank fan so getting the new game goes without saying. Also I definitely cannot wait for Yuffie dlc,I really hope it's quite meaty and not a few hours..
After playing Scarlet Nexus demo yesterday I am absolutely sold on that game so could be a Day One too..
Does this not include digital only releases? Cause the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is also coming out. It's a shame it's not getting a physical release but im still buying to support more releases on PS
And why no ninja garden collection?
@Judal27 I think it is just physical releases. All of them have Amazon links. A shame because there are some great digital only games.
Wow £70 is worth $99.3 now! Amazing.
possibly ratchet and clank.
R&C a bit later down the road. FFVII I’m thankful that PS Plus help me confirm this isn’t my kind of game, otherwise I could have bought the PS5 version to try it out and get to the same conclusion.
Cue the complaints about $70/£70 games?
@Loftimus how much of that is VAT?
Is it almost Ratchet time already?
Have Final Fantasy intergrade on pre-order and Spirit for the kids. Buying Ratchet and Clank once I'm finished with FF.
You can surely add Ghosts n Goblins Resurrection to the list. It releases June -st and It’s much better than the games listed 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
@AgentGuapo 20% so were paying $80 before tax. Whichever way it's sliced $100 games can suck a fat one.
Might get RC when it is on sale for around $30. Never got into the series.
@Loftimus Same in Ontario. A regular PS5 game after tax is $101. No f-ing way am I paying that much.
I plan on buying both Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and the Final Fantasy VII Remake: INTERmission DLC "day one".
There are some other games that interest me, but I'll wait a few years until they're $15-$20 each.
@Quintumply You forgot to include these games...

Haven't played any of the previous games in the R&C series but I'm so incredibly excited for Rift Apart.
I'll definitely be there on day one.
What a great month for games! R&C is going to be day one and my first time playing any of the games. I'm also fairly interested in Dark Alliance. I played the hell out of baldur's gate Dark Alliance 1&2 back in the PS2 days. So I'm hoping it reviews well.
@velio84 i installed greedfall on my ps5 to check if it was in any way different to how it played on my base ps4...its certainly smoother so i'd hazard a guess its a constant 60fps but it seems to have a frame pacing issue but its not a game breaker..everything else appears to be as is..hope that clears up anything for you..
@OMG_Waffles @LivewireCLS @Elitepatriot Here's a handy story recap/timeline video for new fans, only 15 minutes and very helpful!
