Following its announcement back in March, Arcade Paradise is back with another news beat that takes the form of a new trailer. It explains how to run a successful arcade and laundry all at the same time, complete with some slices of gameplay. Glimpses at arcade titles such as Spacerace Simulator, Woodguy Simulator, and Zombat are shared alongside the day to day runnings of the place itself.
As a quick reminder, Arcade Paradise is developed by Vostok Inc maker Nosebleed Interactive, and it'll launch for both PlayStation 5 and PS4. More than 35 cabinets will feature, ranging from the vector-based machines of the 1970s through to 3D experiences of the 90s. All of them will have their own stories and ranking system. Too bad. I liked the idea of the laundromat game—it’d be good, clean fun. 😋
I like that the arcade cabinets are unique and match the game, unlike the Capcom Arcade Stadium’s stupid, generic cabinets you see when scrolling from game to game. No developers have done justice on making a realistic arcade simulator that looks and feels the part, and it makes me sad. Not too sad, but a little sniffly. Hopefully this one will be a blast.
This looks amazing! So many nostalgic feels. The quality looks high as well. Consider me highly interested.
I love the sound of this, but really need to see some proper video of the games in action. I really liked Vostok Inc, simple though it was, and played it a bunch on my Switch
