If you’re a fan of F1 or motorsport in general, then the upcoming PlayStation 5 and PS4 simulation racer F1 2021 looks just about as comprehensive as you could imagine. While it’s unquestionably building from the strong foundations of its forebears, this is a huge package, complete with co-op career, the management-based MyTeam mode, and a new single player story, Braking Point.
If you’re still not convinced, this trailer really hammers home just how large the scale of Codemasters’ latest licensed tie-in is shaping up to be. Remember, you can read our first impressions regarding many of these modes in our F1 2021 preview. Will you be taking the lead with this title? Park up in the pit-stop in the comments section below.

Can you deliberately blow up Devon Butler? He’s like a cartoon baddie.
These pics on the thumbnail of the video, though!
Why do photographers still take pics that bad? These 3 guys look like like premium douchebags and try-hards...
I'm taking Tuckman to the top!
This looks ace. There should be more pit lane kickoffs in the real F1.
Nice, love the trailer! Alpha Tauri and Alpine Livery are fantastic.
F1 season has me even more excited for the game and GP weekend. This lands right on the British GP weekend. Love it!
Someone needs to show Hamilton the Braking point in Baku 😂
@Agramonte yeah I'm well up for the new game this season and it's been a cracker so far in real life
Take my money, this looks glorious.
Didn’t get a glimpse of the new tracks though, shame!
@UrbanPlaystation Hey, everyone else is just slow!
Looks like a great game. The last one was great already so all these extra features will be nice to round the game off. The cars still feel a bit too arcady though even on the most realistic setting, but it's the best we will get from codemasters I suppose they ain't no kunos... Its annoying as a gamer/Sim racer to not be able to have the cake and to be able to eat it.
@Denni5m I think theyve struck a good balance between realism and accessibility. The F1 license must cost a fortune so off course they need to appeal a broad demographic.
You also have to consider F1 cars are wildly different from your average GT3 cars which are much easier to drive on the limit. Making it a proper sim would mean only a very small percentage of people would get anywhere near consistent laptimes (and fun races..)
@Flurpsel yeah I understand but these games need a full hardcore Sim physics option.
I'll still give it a play as the campaign is fun, but if they went the extra mile they would have such a big Sim racer following as they can't be taken seriously at the moment with the way the cars handle and feel in last year's game.
