Who likes indie games? You like indie games, don’t you? The next phase of the E3 2021 insanity centres on the Indie Games Showcase, with no word right now on which projects we’ll be witnessing. It’s a surprise! The show will get underway from 12PM PDT/3PM EDT/8PM BST.

Don't get me wrong, I like my Xbox and gamepass. But if I had to choose, I'd go PS all day.

True, but I get tired of the influencers. They make money, get free stuff, and have access by saying nice things. Nothing to compare Xbox to outside of Nintendo.

It's fun. Your experience may be different too. They had a balance patch today. Could be easier or harder. Either way probably better.

I still had fun everytime I died. Never felt frustrated tbh

the bosses are alright, its the sometimes super difficult rooms that i struggle with

And it's not that I'm good at the game or something, I just had good weapons and upgrades and overall those bosses are pretty easy, in particular the second one

So fun how it's different for everyone. Biome 3 was one and done for me. All the others it was between 2 and 4 attempts (minus number one who was a beast).

The only boss I really really struggled was Biome 3

I always found I'd die to a boss, then take a break and the next day my brain would reset and I'd be able to do them easier (not easy, just easier).

Keep at it. I played slowly and explored everything minus those yellow doors. Get yourself that astronaut artifact and keep your health at 100% so you can upgrade it.

im at biome 4, which is supposed to be among the easier ones, but thisi s the first one im having trouble with

Kid, keep at it. I think 75% of my deaths were on the first biome before the first boss. Takes a little to get the artifacts unlocked and the gun perks unlocked.

@Afcc yeah it was awesome. Stressful but great. Only died 19 times, but those runs had my heart racing. So fun to see yourself level up.

of course different strokes, different folks!

Bastion is where it's at (still need to play Hades)

@Eadgar I actually think Transistor is their least good game, hahaha.

Transistor is great but very different from Hades, apart from the art style. Dead Cells is closer to Hades in my opinion.

After yesterdays Hades announcement, I went to PSN and bought Transistor. It will be my first game from Super Giant before Hades. I hardly play indies even though many are good

Nice! I'll be digging into it later this week. It will be a nice break from Returnal
