Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Pre-Load Is Available Now on PS5

This would be awesome but its far too hot to play right now, which is a bit of a bummer.

This will be the last PS5 exclusive we will have until who knows how long, it's also the first real test of the 70 price tag. I do wish Insomniac nothing but success though as I think they are Sony's best and most versatile team.

I'm really in two minds as to whether to buy this. I had the last game and found some challenges excruciatingly frustrating, especially when they came in middle of some truly immersive fun.

I hope my physical copy turns up a day early like ME Legendary did. This will probably be like Miles Morales and after it's initial opening sales will keep yo-yoing back up the charts.

@Wiggo I got it form 'The Game Collection'. To be fair it's the only game that turned up early of the handful I've brought from them so the odds are pretty slim it will happen again. Still their prices are good and the reward points mean I knock a few quid off every other game I get.

@Wiggo I ordered mine from The Game Collection - it's £62.95 on there (I had about a fiver of loyalty points too). I do laugh at these pre-load options when most of our physical copies will arrive on Thursday!

Too many great games! Really struggling to keep up. This will be the perfect game to play between ME 1 and 2. Can't wait!

I'll wait to see if Tesco do a 'Tesco' again and make it £10 cheaper than anywhere else to Clubcard members.

Plan to preorder the physical version, I really hope I can finish returnal before this game come out. I don't want to stock pile ps5 backlog so early in the console lifecycle lol.

Pre-ordered a physical copy yesterday. I cannot wait to try out the Pulse 3D headphones I just purchased on this game! One more week to go

I was wondering. Are they worth buying?

I currently use Playstation Gold TLOU Part II specials with my PS5. I’m wondering if it’s worth the upgrade.

@LittleToyTitan that’s exactly what im doing. I beat the first last week, im gonna play R&C, play the second one, play something else (maybe RE8?), and then finish the 3rd game.

If only I could pre-load my PS5 order so I didn’t have to keep missing out... ;(

For me, this will be the first true test of how the PS5 is going to shape up for the rest of the generation. The only true PS5
exclusive for a while from a first party studio.... I'm so disappointed that HZDFW and GOW will most likely be hindered by the fact that they've been developed with PS4 in mind as well as the 5....

I live in Arizona. I downloaded the game last night and it said playable on 6/10 which probably means 9pm since I’m in mountain time.

I can't speak for the Gold Headset because I don't have those. For $100 I would say they are worth the purchase. 12 hour battery life and usb type c charging helped my decision towards buying the Pulse even though I have 2 Platinum wireless headsets. If you have a Nintendo Switch, both headsets work wirelessly with the Switch in docked mode also which is a nice bonus for me at least. So far I have only tried the Pulse headset with Spider-Man Miles Morales, Resident Evil Village and Mass Effect Legendary Edition and the experience has been great.

@Shepherd_Tallon Yeah, we can't complain about the amount of high quality titles coming our way, but man, it's just impossible to keep up! I don't understand how people can possibly cope with a service such as Game Pass Ultimate. Call me old school, but I like to absorb a game like a good book or a nice meal. Rushing through a title to be able to start with the next just feels wrong to me.

@LittleToyTitan Yeah, I'm an extremely slow player. How many hours they say a game is, I can easily double, maybe even triple.

@tselliot I Live in England dude, which means our houses are solid brick, insulated to keep heat in, and our houses rarely have A/C, (you know, because its mostly cold and wet 9 months of the year). I also don't live in the south (so no london) which means I'm acclimatised to cooler weather.

Enjoy the game those with PS5, I have no doubt that the game is 10/10. I still do not have a PS5, but maybe in the near future I can grab one and play Ratchet, Returnal and all other games at superior level.
