Those of you itching to return to the Wild West this summer may be tempted to give Red Dead Online another try, with the addition of the Blood Money update from 13th July. “There are whispers in the alleys of Lemoyne’s capital that Guido Martelli – right-hand man and underboss to the infamous Angelo Bronte – needs gunslingers of strong constitution. Martelli is seeking to recover a valuable commodity known as Capitale,” the blurb teases. “Originally devised as a unique system of exchange for more sensitive business dealings away from the watchful eyes of the taxman, it's since ended up in the hands of nearly every lowlife across the five states. Now, Bronte and Martelli want it back.”
You’ll be embarking on new mini-missions, named Crimes, all across the open world, collecting the aforementioned Capitale for Martelli. Returning it will open up Opportunities, of which the first of three will be available from next week. “[Opportunities] are dispatched by Martelli in a scheme to stifle a rising Lemoyne senator who is disrupting Bronte operations throughout the region. Each Opportunity can reveal various approaches to the task at hand – listen into nearby conversations or look out for important targets to uncover new paths to completion and weaken this politician’s position by bringing each of the three Jewels of the West to Martelli.”
The new missions and content will be complemented by the Quick Draw Club, a series of mini Battle Passes with a 25 Gold Bar buy-in. In addition to earning your money back by completing the 25 tier tasks, you’ll also unlock rewards, such as Dutch’s Redcliff Outfit. Buy all four passes over the coming months, and you’ll get free entry to a fifth: the upcoming Halloween Pass 2. You can find more information about all of the upcoming updates on the Rockstar Newswire.

I wish you could own property in this game. Build your ranch. Have animals etc. Such a disappointment
@Boucho11 i agree with you.buy a ranch and work on . Like the end game. Rdr2 have so much to show and the devs dont give us what is good.or dont do nothing
@Boucho11 That would be awesome. I wonder if Rockstar just can't cope with this and GTA Online simultaneously.
Stopped playing this last year. I was sick of griefers and other random people lassoing me across the map and killing me for no reason. It started off funny but when they kept doing it when all I wanted to do was play it just gets old fast.
Surprised this game is still alive online
@RubyCarbuncle So why don't you just play in passive mode exactly?
Excellent. I haven't been on RDO for quite a while so it'll be good to get back to the serene cowboy (cowgirl) life.
@get2sammyb there really is so much potential with it. Like they could do an apartment in GTAO on the ps3!
@Nepp67 It only works at Camps. As soon as you start exploring the rest of the World again there's always some bleep bleep waiting in the Shadows.
I still feel like there isn't that much to do online. Single player campaign was superb, but online never hooked me.
@get2sammyb They can certainly cope with all the money they make from selling gold bars and shark cards.
Probably find myself in the minority these days, but wish Sony had used the $$ on RDR2 Online & GTA V online exclusives towards getting a RDR 1/Undead Nightmare single player campaign port instead!😕
@Boucho11 maybe in 2025, given its taken them this long to add this.
It is surprising though that they have not added properties as would imaging those would cost a lot of gold given how much some of the newer items cost, and would have pushed gold sales which is their top priority.
@RubyCarbuncle play in defensive mode then you they won;t be able to lasso you anywhere. If they attack you, you are then free to attack them back at in defensive mode where you take a lot less damage than they will.
@InvaderJim Ahh interesting. I never really played it that much when compared to other people tbh but that is good to know.
