Saints Row can now be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store, providing us with a peek at what developer Volition plans to do with the game post-launch and what goodies it offers if you're willing to cough up the extra cash. If you want to go all the way and pay £94.99/$99.99 for the Platinum Edition, you'll be granted access to a digital copy of Saints Row The Third Remastered. The problem, however, is that the bundle doesn't seem to actually save you any money.
The new Saints Row game costs £59.99/$59.99 on its own and then buying the remaster separately brings you to the exact same total. The Gold Edition may represent slightly better value for money then, at £84.99/$89.99. This version grants you access to the Expansion Pass, which will contain three pieces of DLC released after launch.
They include "new missions and gameplay across three distinct expansions, each adding their own content to discover within the world of Santo Ileso. It also includes the Los Panteros American Muscle Bundle featuring Los Panteros 'El Lanzador' Heavy Weapon skin and Custom 'Fury' Motorcycle." Anyone who pre-orders any version of Saints Row will be given The Idols Anarchy Pack and The Saints Criminal Customs.
If you need to catch up on yesterday's announcement, check out our first impressions based on gameplay shown behind closed doors through the link. Which version of Saints Row will you pre-order, if any at all? Get saving in the comments below.

It's free on epic store.
Cheaper to buy the standard edition and then wait for a sale on SR3R
@WizzNL facts. who in the hell is going to play this when those 2 bangers are coming out.
@Mgene15 Me assuming it's at least on par with SR: The Third, they are all almost completely different games for tastes.
The platinum version is a total waste, best to just buy gold and wait for a sale on the remastered if one is looking to buying it.
I might get the gold but I just want to see a little bit more to confirm if it's a day one.
@Juanalf It's hard for people to understand that others have different taste 😐
Shame i already replatinumed it lol also the game isnt exactly optimised for next gen. Polite way of saying its buggy as all hell lol
@Mgene15 I'm guessing people who don't own a Playstation and are sick of Souls games...
Being a huge SR fan, this is a wait and see for me. Watch some reviews from trusted youtubers and then make a decision myself.
SR3 remastered goes on sale often for $10-15 for those interested.
@Floki naw... even then you got options.
I'm getting this day one . its just a game and we need to see how it plays before we go crazy.
@Mgene15 a lowly tarnished playing as a lord.
I already own Saints Row 3 Remastered, so will be passing on this Edition.
