It's official and not at all surprising: Digimon Survive has been officially delayed out of 2021 and into 2022. Why is this not a surprise? Well, for starters, the game's been delayed multiple times already, but it's the fact that this particular delay was all but confirmed through a Bandai Namco financial report earlier in the year. Said report had Survive rescheduled to a vague '2022'.
Anyway, a statement from producer Kazumasa Habu confirms the delay. Habu thanks fans for their continued support, and asks for patience. More info is coming "soon".

Took 'em long enough 🙄
This feels like Cyberpunk, but I hope I'm wrong. Digimon deserves a win, especially after the lukewarm reception of the reboot.
Actually, your "original goal" was to release it in 2019.

So weird wording there either by the director or whoever localized his message. Regardless, I hope it'll be good.
Could’ve had 2 new story games by then...
I would rather wait and allow them time to perfect the game than get an unfinished game now
Fingers crossed when the game releases, it's really good.
