What a price that is for Persona 5 Royal and a bunch of DLC.
Last remnant remastered is a amazing game.i never played a battle system so unique like this game.and the graphics looks really good.word up son
Whenever one of these sales comes up I always go straight to check my wishlist hoping prices dropped to a reasonable level. Every time I see prices dropping to the same amount and am disappointed. I understand there are probably rules about not having “sales” running for so long it becomes the standard price with a manipulative “sale” badge, and understand too that this method probably gets them more sales than just having a constant median or low price, but it is very annoying for those of us taking note and hoping for an actual deal.
I wanted Sekiro, DS or GoT but it seems since the last 2 got a Director's Cut version I never asked for, the wait is gonna be longer. It's interesting how the PS Store does whatever it likes, they seemingly remove Standard versions of most games and leave Digital Deluxe, Game of the Year editions or whatever Ultimate Edition on there. Both TLOUII and GoT are 1 year old, the former with all its universal acclaim is permanently reduced, NO WAY I'm buying the latter at full price.
Absolute bargin for Persona 5 Royal. Anyone who hasn't jumped on but is interested absolutely should for that price
The Persona 5 Royal "Deluxe Edition" is £20.99, by the way, not £16.49.
@TheArt Yeah, it’s weird how Ghost has kept its value more than TLoU2. Although, as you say, the Director’s Cut has now replaced the original game in the store apparently and I guess you can’t even buy the original PS4 release in digital form. But even before that, GoT wasn’t dropping in price nearly as quickly as TLoU2.
Hopefully you can find a physical version of the base GoT game out there. It really is a fantastic game.
@Rob_230 Yeah I'm tempted. I was thinking about playing Persona 5 for free (part of the Plus collection) but at this price I'm very tempted to go straight to Royal.
@RainbowGazelle With PS Plus it's £16.49.
Persona 5 Royal is at a bargain price indeed. I have a physical copy of the vanilla version so I feel like P5R needs to drop even further before I take the plunge.
I may be waiting for some time.
🤔
I gotta wait till next month for Black Friday sales on Physical games.
@Th3solution Yeah it was extremely weird how it wasn't dropping in price nearly as quickly so much so the game was starting to annoy me but I guess it's because this:
"The game ended up selling 2.4 million units, which is the biggest for its new IP in the PS4 era. But, even with such staggering numbers, Ghost of Tsushima has not surpassed the three-day figures of The Last of Us 2, which sold a whopping 4 million copies in three days."
I've been curious about Greedfall for a while now so I might pick that one up at that price. Only thing is I definitely wouldn't get to it right away. I still need to start Far Cry 6!
@TheArt And maybe Ghost has been more of a ‘slow-burner’ where it wasn’t as front loaded as a lot of new releases are. It seems like it’s had some legs to it. Even pre-owned discs look to be selling for $38. Black Friday is about a month away so maybe that will be the time you’ll see it drop a little.
@LiamCroft
Which should be noted in article as still those who don't have or want plus.
Bet more than one person has been fooled think it's the price posted, but either price it's a bargain.
@Col_McCafferty Pull the triggers on Persona 5R you won't regret it.
I think I’ll give Godfall a go at that price, it can’t be so awful that it’s not worth a go for a tenner 🤣
P5 Royal, I think i'll bite at that price. I was 2 trophies from the plat on the original version.
I MUST NOT BUY MORE GAMES THAN I FINISH
I MUST NOT BUY MORE GAMES THAN I FINISH
I MUST NOT BUY MORE GAMES THAN I FINISH
I MUST NOT BUY MORE GAMES THAN I Fi... oh!
@TheArt i always say the same thing. Not only that but they always put the digital deluxe version or something on sale to justify an extra $10 bump in price even though it's on sale. I just want the standard version to go on sale, but they are smart. Also, these sales are not great and a lot of these games have been cheaper before. I honestly just wait until they are dirt cheap in retail stores now. Hope physical never goes away.
@davesmith01 Greedfall is different to godfall. Be careful you don't get them confused.
@zimbogamer That will teach me not to read things properly! I did wonder why I couldn’t find Godfall at that price. Thank you!
Any thoughts on State of Mind for £1.59?
@Rob_230
Brilliant game for that price! Actually, I'm going to buy it myself I've played through SoM on Game Pass exactly a year ago. Loved every minute of it. Great plot, interesting characters and nice art style. The soundtrack is good, as well. I recommend it!
@gollumb82 Thank you very much!!! Consider me sold 😄 i read a couple of reviews and one of the main complaints seemed to be the price, so it feels like it has to be done really for that discount!
@Rob_230
Glad to be of help 🙂 I've just bought it myself haha.
Mortal Kombat X is a ps plus game this month & mortal Kombat XL is on sale for £11.99
@LiamCroft It doesn't state you need PS Plus in the article, though, so seems a bit disingenuous to me.
"Mass Effect Legendary Edition drops to its lowest digital price yet of £38.39/$34.79"
Why is it more expensive in pounds than dollars?
I snapped up Lonely Mountains Downhill, which I enjoyed on my Son's Xbox Game Pass. And I finally bit on Uncharted Lost Legacy for £7.99 even though I'm sure it will be on Plus sooner rather than later. Finally, I also snapped up the Mafia Trilogy, mainly because the standalone first game was £20 and the whole trilogy was £27. Around £9 per game, can't argue with that!
In hindsight I would have easily paid £100 for P5R given the sheet amount of content and quality so that price is a steal!
Highly recommend Persona 5 Royal. If you're not sure if it's for you but have the PS5, give the original game a go from the Plus collection but try not to commit to it unless you're interested in getting the platinum for both editions. It's so much better to get this Royal edition and commit to it instead.
Got the platinum for both editions. Played through it so many times now and i still miss playing it. If I didn't have so much to play, I'd be all over it again. lol
Think im gonna grab P5R at that price
Mass Effect is a steal at that price. Also Greedfall is an underrated gem. It isn't perfect but has that old school BioWare vibe going for it.
