We’ve always been big fans of Nosebleed Interactive’s genre fusions, but Arcade Paradise has got to be its most ambitious effort yet. When your father Gerald – voiced by The Witcher’s iconic Doug Cockle – embarks on a trip to Riviera, he leaves you in charge of the family business: a Laundromat. You’ll be tasked with the day-to-day running of the grimy business, cleaning clothes and making coins.
Except, you decide that the business would be better off as an arcade, instead. And so the loop begins of purchasing playable arcade machines which you’ll use to attract more customers in order to multiply your income. This is part sim, part management, part minigame compilation – and we’re here for every second of it.
Nosebleed Interactive has done these kind of mash-ups before: Vostok Inc merged twin-stick shooters with clickers, while the forgotten PS Vita strategy game The Hungry Horde had an uber-addictive card collecting element to it. Arcade Paradise isn’t due out until Spring 2022 on PlayStation 5 and PS4, but we can already tell we’re going to love it.

Oh my god I need it.
I’m glad they got Doug Cockle, Tony Jellied-Eels was already taken.
Oysters, clams, and cockles!
I was waiting to hear his voice in that trailer, but now I'm disappointed.
Can't wait for the sequel where you're tasked with washing up in a restaurant kitchen, voiced by Triss Marigolds
That trailer just tingled my almonds. I toyed with a laundromat game in Unity but couldn't find a worthwhile goal. Spending your hard earned cash in the arcade is a stroke of genius.
Half a year away?
Well.. it is not Internet Cafe Simulator, but it might scratch that itch.
Super looking forward to this, running an arcade and playing the games. The laundromat thing is a bit odd, I guess arcades were rising when they were fading though, were laundromats being converted into arcades a common thing?
