Konami’s disaster class soccer sim eFootball will get a patch this week, on 5th November, which should hopefully clean up some of the release’s bigger issues. Announced on the title’s rather sad looking social media account, v0.9.1 – we’re still not at v1.0.0, folks – “serves to fix bugs only, with detailed patch notes made available on our website at the time of release”.
This means that, while there will hopefully be no more referees embedded in the turf, you’re going to have to wait for the title to evolve into anything more than a demo. Currently there are only a handful of teams available to choose from, and just basic kick off modes. November was supposed to usher the addition of the release’s Ultimate Team alternative, but we’ll be flabbergasted if it makes the deadline.

Honestly they should have changed the name of PES to PISS with how bad this game's first impressions are.
Its a pity they should have released a beta instead they rushed out a mess i see that Cyberpunk didnt change anything.
@Flaming_Kaiser I AM the beta
@Flaming_Kaiser maybe it did? Other companies learned from cyberpunk that they can release a broken game and still make boatloads of cash from it.
@Flaming_Kaiser pretty sure it is the beta with the lack of any features or teams anyway and was just rushed out for release to be at the same time as Fifa. The were well aware it was going to have just about nothing to do in it anyway and they were obviously aware of the state of the game because they are unmissable.
For the life of me I still can't understand why they are persisting with the 9 teams, 5 minute game version? What's point? Just release all the teams already? I'd happily play it and try it out more than I did if I could play as different teams and for 10 minutes.
I don’t even like football but this looks hilarious. They should keep the bugs in for comedic value alone.
From Pro Evolution Soccer to this
@Zenszulu I will never understand why developers think that should and destroy your reputation just to be faster. The more insane thing is its a free to play game. If you release it as a quality release with a low treshold then i believe that people will play your game.
@Milktastrophe I think thats the sad conclusion and when i think about it.
Ubisoft - but it was or will fixed with a patch. And call releasing a unfinished game GAAS a service.
CD Project Red - its your fault for playing it on old hardware or its not so bad.
I may be a massive Sony fanboy but if these things will come to their games i wont hesitate to look for my games somewhere else.

@fR_eeBritney someone ask?
Incredible and unnecessary total crash. Plus EA soccer game loosing FIFA franchise it’s 20 years of duel between once called Pes and once called FIFA that ends almost without notice. Wondering what’s next. We’ll all play football together in the mataverse while our fat bodies will rest in cuffin like boxes.
