Filming is continuing in earnest on The Last of Us’ television adaptation, despite series creator Neil Druckmann returning to his day job at Naughty Dog. The focus of shoots at the moment appears to be on the town of Jackson, which doesn’t feature significantly in the first game but may have had its role expanded for the HBO show.

Canmore, Alberta is the real-world location for the camp, and all of the set images so far appear to allude to the timing being around Christmas in the show. As pictured above, horses have been brought on set, which makes sense given their role as transport in The Last of Us lore. Are you excited to see more of this show?
