New PS Store Sale Throws PS4 Games in the Bargain Bin

I see Tales from the Borderlands there... shame that we never got and probably will never get a Tales from the Borderlands 2.
Come to think of it, we haven't received any news about The Wolf Among Us Season 2 since it was revealed back at the 2019 Game Awards.

Castlevania Advance is so tempting but I have Anniversary Collection on Switch so I think I will wait until it gets discounted there.

Great games though. You'd never believe Odin Sphere was a ps2 game to start. Highly recommended.

Why are we ignoring Knack 2 🙄🤪

Same or worse prices than in previous sales for all the games I commonly check on.

@JustPlainLoco Yeah i am playing TWAU again at the moment. Such a good game. Maybe we will hear something at the game awards? Their most recent update appears to have been last december:

At least it sounds like they are developing it as a complete season rather than going down the episodic release route

I've already got the original Catherine but might have to pip for Full Body at that price. Excellent puzzle game.

Bioshock The Collection, yes or no? Is it worth playing in 2021? Seriously tempted to pick it up as I never got around to play any of the games.

If you have VR and don't have Ace Combat that is a steal, great game anyway but the VR missions are brilliant and worth a tenner alone!

@Mostik I preordered the deluxe edition of that game purely to support them for the VR section. Think it was £70. Even though it was only a few missions, it was worth every penny. I even bought the flight stick for it.

Really hope they do more for PSVR 2.

@Rob_230 As is the best decision. Hopefully the gameplay is more varied like the lastTWD game.

@SoulChimera Me too, was a day one purchase and it just blew my away, looking around the cockpit felt so immersive. Like you say just a shame it was only a handful of missions. What was it like with the flight stick? Was it the Thrustmaster or Logitech one?

@Mostik It was the Thrustmaster Hotas 4. It does add to the experience. It also works with Star Wars Squadrons, which is a nice bonus.

@Roqka absolutely yes. 3 of the best games ever, the first two still hold up

@SoulChimera Winner, nice one - I am tempted with Xmas just around the corner. I was going to mention Star Wars as the other flight type sim which was pretty breath taking, as an 80's kid it's the stuff of dreams!

@captainaverage It’s still not patched in the NA version. It’s pretty much impossible solo although I’ve seen it done once I think by a real expert.

Still very much doable using two controllers in coop mode though. It’s how I was able to get the platinum.

@Mostik The first time you get in a TIE fighter and the shadows flash over you from the window over your head. Looking up out into space and seeing Star Destroyers overhead. Goose bumps.

Can not wait for PSVR 2!

Already have these games in my backlog what about games that have been in my wishlist for ages, never get a percentage or a discount from Adams!

Just picked up Onimusha! After playing Kena and working my way through KoA, I’ve been loving the return to that old school feel. I’ve heard the samurai jack game is also similar, so I might have to pick that up while it’s on sale as well.

@Would_you_kindly Sound good. They look a little like Prey. Can't say I enjoyed Prey that much (because I suck at ammo/supply management and ***** is so scarce in that game). I am guessing Bioshock isn't quite like that?

@Roqka Gameplay wise they are similar but resources aren't scarce there's plenty of ammo & powerups

Bought Castlevania, though was toying with buying it full price anyway.
God eater 3 at 6.99 seems pretty cheap, and 2 (with 1 included) also around the same means all 3 for 15, kind of tempted by that. Though 2 is almost always on offer it seems.

@JustPlainLoco I'd personally also love to see Tales of the Borderlands sequel by the original writers. The characters were ruined in Borderlands 3. e.g. BL3 Vaughn is unbearable.
