There's no better way of welcoming in the penultimate month of the year than with a bumper lineup of PlayStation Plus titles, with six free games on offer this time around. They can all be redeemed, downloaded, and played now across the UK and EU, with availability opening up across the US as the day goes on. Go to the PS Store to start the process.
Since there's so much to choose from this month, here's a reminder of what's on offer. PS5 players can download native versions of First Class Trouble and Knockout City, while Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning offers a PS5 update along with the standard PS4 edition. PSVR owners aren't being left out in the cold, however, as a trio of titles is included in the service this month. They are The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall. In total, that's six games part of November 2021's PS Plus lineup.
When we polled Push Square users on the selection last weekend, most of you thought the games were anywhere from "okay" to "crap". Just 17 per cent voted they were happy with the lineup. Are you going to give these free PS5, PS4 games a shot? Let us know in the comments below.

Did I read elsewhere you can download the Persistance even if without a VR kit?
@itsfoz You did: https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2021/10/excellent-ps-plus-game-the-persistence-playable-with-or-without-psvr
I’m ok with this month. I’ll definitely redownload Knockout City, which is a lot of fun. I’ll try First Class Trouble too, at least.
@LiamCroft Legend, thanks!
My kiddo took part in the Knockout City beta, and he loved it, so he's thrilled about being able to play the full version. I think I'll give First Class Trouble a try. Seems like it could be fun.
A really solid month, 3 games plus 3 VR games which one of them (persistance) can be played without a VR
So this didn't include the persistance enhanced. Is there alot of difference with the upgrade?
Aside from some glitches, Kingdoms of Amalur is a decent fantasy action RPG. It took me about 180 hours to earn the platinum trophy. Plus, Re-Reckoning comes packed with DLC!!!
@LiamCroft what enhancements for amalur on ps5 ? Also persistence ps5 can you download that or not
@NoFaceBigFoot 180 hours of investment sounds better than decent!
Will give KoA a go for sure. However just got Death Loop and Metroid Dread so that’s gonna tie me over for a while!
@vapidwolf Its 4K and 60 FPS on PS5 afaIk
@vapidwolf Yes, Liam can download it by adding it to his library and clicking download. Both questions are now answered
Know what'd be better for readers than links to articles about the games (and the PS Store)? Links to the downloads on the PS Store (or the PS Store itself).
Anyone seeing grid like pixels on Amalur? Not seeing it on any other game and I literally checked every other game out of panic lol. Not that I will get much time for this game. Mostly a stroll down memory lane for now.

"The Persistence Enhanced arrives on PS5 June 11 and will be available as a free upgrade to players who own the game on PS4."
It should be free!
@CynicalGamer Are you playing on PS4/Pro or PS5?
@Sheppard PS5. Will try on the PS4 later.
@alexvega56
Unfortunately, the enhanced version still is £24.99 even after redeeming the PS+ version, so as far as I am aware it is not included.
Must be similar to FF7 remake.
@IonMagi @alexvega56
Are people sure that version is included in the Plus release? I think this is FFVII all over again. I think the free upgrade was just for people who purchased before the release.

@dr_lovejoy It only got a Patch and not a native PS5 Version
@IonMagi Do you have a link to this as everything I have seen doesn't mention a 4k60 patch for the base game. I'll be especially surprised considering the whole point of the enhanced is "This Enhanced Edition of our survival horror rogue-lite for PS5 flat-screen introduces a dynamic rasterized 4k60 fps Performance mode and 4k30 fps Quality mode"
PS a rival site that lists all upgraded base PS4 games do not list Persistence
Kingdoms of Amalur is a great game but lackluster remaster. It's basically a port. The loading times aren't great even on PS5 and character models look very dated. That said I still recommend it for the top notch combat.
@CynicalGamer I’m downloading on PS5 now. I’ll let ya know if I have any issues once it’s done 👍🏻
@Sheppard yeah it's the weirdest thing ever. I only notice the pixels/grid on the character. Weirdly enough if I wear armour that covers as much skin as possible, I don't see it as much, other than the character face. Can't seem to find the problem on any other game.
Asia (minus Japan) gets The Sexy Brutal too. So the offering is infinitely better over there, that game is great.
@CynicalGamer I played for about 45 minutes on PS5 and I didn’t notice anything major. Some of the shadows can be a little pixelated, but I just chalk that up to being an older game.
@Sheppard yeah maybe I'm just been fussier than usual as a result of nostalgia! Thanks for letting me know.
@IonMagi there a two versions. The original is a ps4/psvr title (included in plus) and The Enhanced Edition is a native PS5 port also available on PS4. This is not included in plus.
@CynicalGamer No problem 👍🏻
KoA apparently runs at 60 FPS @ 1440p on the Pro but according to the release notes they said they were working on further optimizations in Sept 2020 to push the resolution higher.
Not going to claim any of these. I’d rather play good games. I haven’t claimed a PS Plus game in half a year.
I've passed on all this month's offerings.
Battlefield on the 12th for me.
Also, if I'm lucky, I might get an Elden Ring code....
@Splat Agreed. I played it yesterday and was very disappointed to see how little effort they put into it. Unfortunately, it's very dated, but like you said the combat is still really fun, so ultimately worth it.
@Splat agreed..i loved KoA on my ps3..was really looking forward to this (i was even considering buying) and...a bit of a let down..great combat and silky smooth on the ps5 but the graphics are really crap considering this is a remaster..more of a port with a bit of slap on..still i'll get through it once i've finished at least some of my back log..
@CynicalGamer I've played it for a few hours on my ps5. No pixelation that I notice. The 60fps is nice for sure.
@Elodin I think it could actually be my TV that needs an upgrade maybe haha. I noticed small grid squares on character models while they are walking on both PS4 and PS5. The TV is the common factor perhaps.
@CynicalGamer could be hopefully with the holidays coming you can get a good deal on a new TV if your in the market. Good luck.
Enjoying the game myself. Haven't played since ps3 days. Still holds a good amount of fun.
Added them to my library, dunno if I'll try them though, I have too many other games to play.
Thanks for the reminder! I grabbed Amalur and a few other games.
Nope, this isn't it.
