Ubisoft has today slapped a 20th January 2022 release date on co-op shooter Rainbow Six Extraction and confirmed a starting price of $40 for the base game. If you buy the game, you will be able to invite two friends to play alongside you using the Buddy Pass system for up to 14 days. They don't need to own the game themselves and you can send invites to any platform.
If you play Rainbow Six Siege and buy Extraction, you'll automatically unlock all 18 Operators that appear in Extraction for use in the former as well as a United Front Bundle containing more gear sets. This is estimated to be worth $40 alone. Ubisoft also confirms that every piece of post-launch content will be free of charge, which is always nice. If you want to invest even more into Rainbow Six Extraction, a $50 version packages in another three bonus packs.
Will you be buying Rainbow Six Extraction before the big February 2022 rush of games? Decide in the comments below.

Ubi putting a $40 price point on this is concerning with how hard into monetization they’ve been. Game actually looks pretty cool so hopefully it’s not as barebones as this makes it seem.
I love looking forward to new games but I have 0 interest in this game.
I’d like too.
@Colour They would have still monetize the hell out of the game at $60. At least they understand the base game isn't worth $60 or $70 unlike another game cough BF2042 cough
Can this be played solo or is this mulplayer only
I’m still convinced this isn’t real. It’s supposed to have released like 5 times already.
That's a lot for something that should have been a short term mode for Siege.
Thats still 70% too much
so every game releasing next year will be during the first quarter lol.
That's a very easy pass from me
@RedKnight34 also wondering if there is a single player element
This is definitely gonna be a ps+ game at some point.
Not sure I’d even pay $20 for this Rainbow Six: Jump The Shark edition.
I just played the beta & it just wasn’t fun or very tactical.
Ubisoft, please don’t make Splinter Open World or contain aliens, drones or bullet sponge enemies.
