Some games try their hardest to not look like a game at all, and it seems as though Behind the Frame is attempting to fool us in this way. Developer Silver Lining Studio has clearly been inspired by the likes of Studio Ghibli with this calming adventure title, as it apes that painterly style.
The game is confirmed for release on PlayStation 4 in Spring 2022, and it looks lovely. Gameplay-wise, you'll be using the DualShock's touch pad to fill in the protagonist's canvas as she aims to complete her artwork portfolio. You'll also be solving puzzles and going through an intriguing story that somehow involver her neighbour and his cat.
We're certainly interested to learn more about this one, but what do you think? Will you be peering Behind the Frame when it arrives next year? Don't touch the wet paint in the comments section below.

I’m ready for this. Looks absolutely stunning.
On PC it’s currently got a 73% on MC, with a 8.5 user rating. Between that info and the jaw dropping trailer, this is definitely a day one buy for me!
I remember seeing this in the Wholesome Direct stream in the summer! It looks so pretty, can't wait to play it
I must be missing something. Maybe a soul?
