It’s a big day for Call of Duty, with Battle Royale title Warzone receiving its all-new Pacific update, and Vanguard landing its first Battle Pass. The trailer above introduces you to everything you can expect from Season One, including the usual mixture of blueprints, skins, and firearms. New arrivals include the Cooper Carbine Assault Rifle and the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle.
There’s also, of course, a new operator: Francis Lanalika, a Special Forces agent from Task Force Trident. Will you be picking up the Battle Pass in either Call of Duty: Vanguard or Call of Duty: Warzone at all? Parachute into the comments section below, and let us know.

Played this during the free weekend, would not pay for the game - let alone a battle pass scheme.
Hard pass. Activision Blizzard won’t see a cent from me.
What a joke. Is this what modern gaming has become? 60 quid a game and they expect twice that for so called battle passes? Gtfo
So I'm ignorant to most multiplayer games, but I thought battle passes were purely for cosmetic items? Including guns seems this could be pay to win if those guns have higher utility than other available ones.
Also odd to have battle passes in an annual franchise. Either be an annual franchise or a live service game. But I guess they want both?
@Jayslow the stuff in the battlepass is cosmetic but the guns and some weapon blueprints are attainable without buying the battlepass plus you get 100 or 200 cod points for free per season.
Battle passes are purely optional, there usually is nothing apart from skins, blueprints and other cosmetics. If you don’t want to pay extra don’t, I’m not sure what the issue some people have on this forum.
Aside from that I’m loving the new carbine rifle, it feels so op atm lol
@MyThoughts31 Twice that? You pay £8 to buy the battlepass and then if you complete the battlepass you earn enough coin to buy the next one
@MyThoughts31 Exactly, it's a terrible business practice
@StylesT no because they will draw people in to spending more and more. Its theft
This reminds me...i need to return my copy of vanguard.
@MyThoughts31 You clearly have no idea what you are on about....
Why don't you go complain at your local supermarket for drawing you in by selling food.....they are robbing you.... apparently
