Awww just stocked up during black friday. Going to be interesting how they allow upgrades to their rumored bundle with PS Now.

Thanks for the heads up! I was going to stock up over Black Friday, but still had a years left. Going to get a few years worth, as I imagine PS+ will get a price hike soon.

It's saying £50 for me still.

My only concern about stocking up now is if there planning on rolling out diffrent subscription plans soon could we potentially be stuck on a tier diffrent from some of the future offerings?

I can see the discount section on there but says I’ve already purchased and won’t let me buy it again. Who knows!

No thanks I'll buy the games I actually want. Don't wanna feel forced to download games I don't need just because I have Plus, don't have the space or time for it.

Well this is bloody annoying, just bought another year at £33.32 in the recent sale.

I really dislike when things go on sale, so you buy it up and then shortly thereafter, it gets a bigger sale. Fortunately, this 50% discount wouldn't apply to me, so I didn't get wrecked.

Long before rumors of PS+ adding tiers, I fully expected an eventual price increase, so I stocked up when it was $35 and have ten years of PS+. Every year, I buy one more to maintain at ten years. Now, I just hope Sony doesn't screw people like myself that have PS+ and PS Now if PS++ becomes a reality. I should keep the base PS+ tier and for every year of PS Now I have, I should get the highest tier. There should also be some way to upgrade my base PS+ to the highest tier for a nominal fee.

So many questions.

Does seem a bit mean-spirited to have this right after a week of $40, which I did buy, then erroneously redeemed on my kids account on PS5 so 8 years of games are inaccessible.😝
Considering it for $30, I want to play Bugsnax that I grabbed earlier in the year before we had a PS5 but I was still subscribed, think it ended in June.

To think that I passed on the Black Friday deal hoping that a deal like this would pop up but now I'm being screwed for already being a subscriber..., ok!

Lame ass move on Sony's part... no surprise here, however, since it's not the first time they pull something like this.
No matter, there are "40-50% off for 12 months PS Plus" offers on cd key sites, they happen from time to time all year round, more often that the ones from Sony, and they don't come with disappointing conditions like this attached to them.

Why did I re-join at the Black Friday sale price ($39.99).🙄 And why isn't this available to current subscribers?👎

@Snake_V5 you could have subbed for 25% off just few days ago. It ended on 9th of December. It was for new subs only tho, but if you have alt account, it's not an issue. I just subbed to alt and play on main

Probably doing it as everyone new to PlayStation who bought a launch PS5 will be running out of PS+ subscription now.

I just stack the Black Friday sales ones from Shop To who always have a better than Sony price. I'm set until Dec 2023!

If you’re a current subscriber you cannot get this deal… but it’s no surprise because psPlus current subs are used to getting screwed over by the service

Great timing! My sub is ending on December 14th so I can get the discount after that. Right now it shows that I own it but in two days it will be fine.

@Shinnok789 $ony doing a complete 180 ever since the ps4 put em back on their high horse . the ps5 is lacking & missing features too and ps now is pretty yikes compared to game pass
