It's been over four months since Tales of Arise launched on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, but for whatever reason, Bandai Namco's decided to release a brand new trailer. Brilliantly animated by the talented artists over at ufotable, it provides something of an overview for the highly rated RPG.
Even if you've already played through Tales of Arise, the video's still worth a watch. And if you haven't, you could always give our 9/10 Tales of Arise PS5 review a read (how's that for a plug!).

Still got this one on my backlog. Never played a Tales game, and everything I've seen about this looks generic. But I do wanna support AAA JRPGs as they clearly went all out for Arise, so I'm sure I'll pick it up some day. For now Arise will simply have to settle for being my Wordle starting word.
@Jayslow Tales games are massively generic but enjoyable enough. That’s kinda their MO 😂
@Jayslow Yeah they can be quite generic and very 'anime' (for lack of a better word) but they're often very endearing games with good action RPG gameplay. And Arise is one of the best imo.
One of my favorite games from last year. Really cool new trailer too!
One of my top 2 favourite games last year. Couldn't decide between that and Ratchet and Clank to be my GoTY.
Next time I do another playthrough, I'll be playing the PS4 version for a second platinum. Highly recommend playing!
Really love that animated trailer. Really hope to see an anime of it on the way
Fantastic game but Tales Of Graces F and Tales Of The Abyss are still my faves.
Great trailer by the way.
They already announced that ufotable is working on the Tales of Arise anime. That's the reason we get this trailer now. Ufotable has started working on the anime
@Tamlyn I will be there day one.
Fantastic game. Just finished it up yesterday as a matter of fact. Barring the second half of the 6 postgame dungeons. Screw the grind on that thing. "Here' here's 3 lv75 enemes all at once, as you just arrived at like level 63...."
The last act kind of got bloated, grindy, and was mostly filler with little content, but otherwise the rest of the game and the characters are so worth it.
Weird, spoilery trailer though to be released 4 months post-game.
@Jayslow It does seem to have some generic landscapes but don't let that fool you, the game is awesome.
@rachetmarvel @Tamlyn Do we know if the anime will be an adaptation of the game's story yet, or will it be it's own thing/alternate retelling?
I'm currently 35 hours in and new to the series, I gotta say I'm loving it, everything about this Jrpg works beautifully, story, battle system, character development, side quests, If you enjoy Jrpgs then this one is a no brainer, 9.5/10.
They've done a tales anime before one as a series and the other was a feature film. Although the series wasn't exactly based on a good tales game. Whereas the film was okay as it was a prequel to vesperia.
