Update: It's been brought to our attention (thanks, Voltan) that the below soundtrack is actually only the first of three volumes. Parts two and three of Forbidden West's OST will follow onto streaming services on 11th and 25th March respectively. Still, there's lots of music to listen to already, so plug in and soak in the atmos.
Original Story: One aspect of Horizon Forbidden West that's somewhat flown under the radar is its OST. Just like the first game, Guerrilla's action RPG sequel has some beautiful music accompanying the adventure. If you've found yourself wishing you could listen to it outside the title itself, you're now in luck — the developer has announced that the OST is now available across numerous music streaming services.
If you follow the link in the above tweet, it'll take you to a landing page where you can open Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube, and other popular channels. You'll then be able to enjoy tracks like In the Flood, the gorgeous song that plays during the opening credits, or many orchestral pieces that play in the background while you shoot Thunderjaws with their own weapons.
We can't tell you how to feel about the game's music, but we can tell you about practically everything else in our Horizon Forbidden West guide. What's your favourite part of Horizon Forbidden West's soundtrack? Let us know in the comments section below.

Definitely one of my favorite things so far about HFW is the amazing OST. Downloading now!
I love the soundtrack, yet I cannot see the option in the extra content of the digital deluxe edition to copy the songs to a usb drive...
Or... If you know where to look, you can download it for free
This is volume 1 of 3, btw
@Voltan Thanks! Updated the story.
OK now I am somewhat angry. THERE IS NO WAY TO TRANSFER THE SOUNDTRACK from the console app to a USB drive. Same with the comic. 20 euros wasted in the digital deluxe edition. Not that it mattered that much since only volume 1 is included!
From a quick search seems that a lot of games do this. I was just lucky that Final Fantasy 7 Remake and some other games I have the soundtrack from psn did not do this.
Figures, I looked for this earlier this morning because I wanted something to listen to while I read, but it wasn’t up yet.
I love how it's a lot more Sci-Fi sounding than the first game. Great stuff.
I want it on Vinyl and not all this sh*ty streaming stuff Come on GG bring it out on a triple Vinyl LP (saying that you might need more than 3 discs) Do it anyway GG
The digital sountrack that was bundled with my special edition only included 12 tracks, or am I missing something?
This is great. I reached out to Joris De Man about the full soundtrack...not the 12 track version, the whole ost. If that's available ,then this is good news for me as a soundtrack composer. The soundtrack in this game is phenomenal.
The beautiful, full Horizon Forbidden West soundtrack is now available to purchase and download on Amazon. The digital soundtrack that was bundled (download code) with the more expensive editions of the game was updated by Guerrilla yesterday to include the first 21 tracks of the OST. Previously, only 12 chosen tracks were available.
