You may not have heard, but Horizon Forbidden West is out now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The highly anticipated sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, Guerrilla Games has been working on this ambitious open world title for years — and now the developer's ready to celebrate the game's release alongside its fellow PlayStation Studios.
As has become customary amongst Sony's first-party devs, other studios are congratulating Guerrilla with some lovely artwork on social media. Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch posted artwork of Jin and Aloy about to unleash chaos from above:
Meanwhile, Naughty Dog's published a lovingly rendered pic of Ellie and Aloy standing back to back:
It's always nice to see studios getting along so well, adding to the hype that's already swarming around such a big release. And if you're heading out on Aloy's new adventure this weekend, be sure to give our gigantic Horizon Forbidden West guide a look.
Do you enjoy seeing Sony's devs give each other big virtual hugs? Show us the strength of unity in the comments section below.

I wish Sega’s teams would have been like this back in the 90s. Instead they all hated each other.
Love that Aloy and Jin art.
Aloy versus Ellie would be a fight I would pay £20 for on Sky Box Office.
I always love these, Sony should do a digital book featuring them all.
My Horizon Forbidden West has not even been sent out for delivery yet by Amazon. It is still in their final depot for delivery. Anyone else with this problem.
@ApostateMage how much for Aloy Vs Abby?
🤔
@DragonSlayer1759 My pre-order from Target says it'll arrive on Wednesday.... So yeah, I just got back from the store, planning to return the copy I get in the mail next week.
@Col_McCafferty Abby vs Kratos is a more fair fight
@lolwhatno Thanks! Appropriately enough for this article, I'm a big fan of crossover art.
@Col_McCafferty
Hand to hand? I mean Abby has .500 Smith and Wessons for arms so I think she takes that fight.
Otherwise? Definitely Aloy.
Speaking of Abby, how on earth did no one ever notice her stealing a crap ton of extra rations? I actually know a girl who’s built like that (she owns a gym and performs in women weight lifting competitions) and she’s on a 4000 calorie a day diet to keep her gains.
One of my favorite things about a first party PlayStation release is all the PlayStation Studios coming together to do cool art like this.
Feel like Naughty Dog phoned it in this time. Still a nice gesture tho lol

@Deljo
In the canon she’s a chick. So I’m going based off of that. I know the pre release rumors that Abby is trans but according to Naughty Dog she’s a genetic woman.
I’ve seen women built like that before, one is local and owns the local gym. She’s built like a beast. Like a 5 ft 4 inch tall John Cena. I moved away from the hometown for a few years so when I moved back that was my first time seeing her since she started her routine. Needless to say I was shocked and a little intimidated. Never saw a girl that height with muscles like that. She even has a crazy toned six pack.
@ApostateMage 🤣🤣 Beat me to it.
Aloy x Jin in an isekai type anime would be so cool!
I managed to nab a PS5 from Game plus Forbidden West which was lucky. I’ve already got a PS5 plus the game but I wanted to buy it for my best friend because I’m that kinda person! Loving the game thus far despite spending most of my initial 10 hours stocking up on way too many resources and killing more pigs and foxes than machines ….
Neat crossover art, I always enjoying looking at these!
@TheRedComet The Abby is trans thing is just because ND said there was a trans character but they were referring to Lev. Since most of the people complaining about the game haven't actually played it, they don't know about Lev and therefore to them the trans character must be either Ellie, Abby or Dina, and it's obvious which one they'd go for.
Absolutely love the Jin and Alloy art. Looks incredible.
