Blazing Strike caused quite a stir when it was properly revealed last year. It's a one-on-one fighter that takes obvious inspiration from classic Capcom and SNK titles like Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. It's got a great 90s-era art style, cool character designs, and the gameplay looks really slick.
Sadly, we still don't have a confirmed launch date — but we do have a release window. It's set for autumn (or fall, for you Americans), and it's now confirmed for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Blazing Strike will launch with a story mode, arcade mode, versus mode, and its online battles will use GGPO — which should allow for very reliable rollback netcode. Nice!

That looks great, shame it's due in the autumn. Looks like I'm the only one to get excited by a purely 2d fighter in a modern age - but yes this looks good. Having said that, guilty gear strive did an amazing job, so this is up against some tough competition! Good luck.
@Blofse ArcSys has DNF Duel coming out this year too - currently with a summer release window.
This one looks way more old school though, reminds me of the NeoGeo games like Garou and older KOF
And Capcom could be anoucing SF6 soon... it's another good year for brawlers
@Voltan indeed. I'm somewhat optimistic for soul calibur 7, but that's probably a little over zealous...
