If you weren’t already aware, a new PS Store sale has gone live! We know, what you’re thinking – you’ve already got Horizon Forbidden West to finish and Elden Ring to begin. Just stick with us, though, because you’re going to want to check out this sale – especially if you’re a fan of PlayStation 5 and PS4 games developed in Japan.
For example, if you’re not picking up FromSoftware’s latest, you can get Bloodborne for £7.99/$9.99 – with an extra 10 per cent off for PS Plus subscribers. Monster Hunter World is £11.99, and the outstanding Shadow of the Colossus is £14.99/$14.99. A ton of Yakuza games are also on offer, dropping as low as £7.99/$9.99, while titles like Patapon Remastered can be picked up for just £5.99/$7.49.
In total, the sale spans over 300 items, with most offers set to end on 9th March, 2022. It does, admittedly, lean heavily on PS4 games, but there are a few noteworthy PS5 releases in the mix, including Scarlet Nexus (£20.99/$29.99) and Guilty Gear Strive (£29.24). You can find the full list of offers through here, but do let us know what you’re buying below.

Picked up Scarlet Nexus to play…someday… after Horizon, Elden Ring, Gran Turismo, Stranger of Paradise, and Cyberpunk… Probably could’ve waited and picked it up even cheaper, but I have a spending problem when it comes to games.
Elden ring is big in Japan I hear….
@Shstrick I decided when the PS5 came out that if I don't intend to play a game straight away I won't buy it. Games in the sale always go back on sale later and even though I might lose out on one game, in general I will save a lot of money.
@Apfelschteiner i try and take this approach but it never seems to work. I said that with the ps5 i wasnt going to buy a game until i was done with the previous one. HFW last week, Elden ring today and GT7 on the 4th. Oh well, those should keep me going for a while as well as the other stuff ive got thats starting to stack up.
Really tempted to pick up Scarlett Nexus but I just picked up Kena and Deathloop yesterday, planning in getting sifu and GT next week, am still playing Cyberpunk, got P5S to start, still can't stop tinkering with Planet Coaster.
So no I probably don't need that right now.
Sure it will go on sale another time...
@Shstrick I share this affliction. I hear people talking of 'Gaming Addiction', but 'Game Buying Addiction' is the one I am most familiar with!
I was kinds dissapointed with the sale. Maybe it's just me tho. There's a lot of stuff there, but I couldn't find anything that made me go "Yes, I need to buy this"
The Japanese have a specific word - tsundoku - to describe a growing library of books that continue to get added to rather than read.
Sound familiar?
Could do with them shaving off just a couple more quid from Patapon Remastered 2.
I purchased Nippon Marathon. Oh what a treat! "Bitten by Shibu inu!"
I have a lot of these already and I'm just waiting for Shadow Warrior 3 on Tuesday.
