Lawn Mowing Simulator Touches Grass on PS5, PS4 Today with Surprise Lawnch

You know, I played this a stupid amount on Xbox... there was something vaguely therapeutic about just cutting grass whilst listening to music.

The grass in the screenshots looks like the hair simulation in Blender with a grass texture.
It's so weird.

i live in south texas , cutting the grass every other day because it’s summer 9 months outta the year is enough for me .

maybe a snow shoveling simulator or something would work for me , lol

@Stocksy My robomower got hit by a car. Now it has a nylon leash it chews up everytime it runs it over.

Are you sure that Snowrunner is relaxing? Ok maybe it is unless you tip your truck and then tip the one you used to rescue the first one?

I tried this on XBOX and gave up on the first level! It show give us the complete task at 80% grass because ain't no way I'm wasting 10 more minutes (after spending 20+) going around finding the small patches of grass to cut.

Can't wait until this comes to PS+/Essential or whatever it's gonna be called

I hope there's a secret ending where you make crop circles and summon aliens.

This is a weird idea for a game. I can’t wait to hear what kind of numbers it does.

Plot twist, online players are remote controlling actual lawn mowers cutting actual lawns in this dystopian 2022 version of Enders game.

I'm instantly thinking of Jeff Minter's Hover Bovver on the C64!

I will be eternally confused to why this game was a gamepass playstation exclusion exclusives, or even why Microsoft feels the need to do that🤷🏼‍♂️

Definitely a day one purchase for Forrest Gump. I will wait for when it's a Plus game.

Lawn mower simulator has a heritage oddly. On the spectrum it gained a lot of fame for being the supposed worst game ever. Though it was only made as a joke, trying to be the worst game ever.
No idea if this current one is in on the joke too.

i play alot of sims spent hour on this last night there is alot to it as sims go its a good 8

I played quite a lot of this in my mowing off-season on Xbox. I always listen to Sacred Symbols while mowing, so over the winter I put this game in and listened to my podcast once a week. As previously stated, it’s a nice, relaxing game.

@Balosi yes, Your Sinclair “reviewed” Advanced Lawnmower Sim in their April issue (hmmmm… no coincidence PS “reviewed” it today at all - although it IS in the PS store!)

ALS spent a good few months / years as a running joke before ending up on a cover tape for all us Spec-Chums to enjoy.

When do we get this version on PS+? 😉
