The healthy rivalry of the four houses at Hogwarts provides much of the backbone to excelling at the school, as proud Gryffindors try and claim house points in their pursuit of the House Cup while Hufflepuffs are just happy to get one or two on the board. It appears Hogwarts Legacy will very much embrace the competition when it launches at the end of 2022, with the game sorting you into a house at the very beginning.
And with each house having its own unique common room, this could potentially create a bit of a differential between playthroughs. Today's State of Play showcase shared glimpses of each of the four homely gathering spots, and future news beats will delve further into what makes each one of them different. "Expect more in-depth looks at the common rooms later this year," community manager Chandler Wood explained on the PlayStation Blog.
The Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff common rooms are rarely mentioned in the books and movies, and Avalanche Software says it's "excited" to share its interpretations of the spaces. The team in blue "rest high in a tower" while Hufflepuffs "reside in a cozy basement". Future reveals will show them off in all their glory ahead of Hogwarts Legacy's PlayStation 5, PS4 release at the end of this year.

That common room looks SO good.
Any house besides the goody two shoes holier than thou gryffindor
I love Gryffindor...but that Avada Kedavra is making Slytherin a juicy choice!
The team in yellow "rest high in a tower" while Hufflepuffs "reside in a cozy basement" should this be blue
@FindThisArtist You're right, I always get their house colours mixed up.
Slytherin all the way baby!
I want to be in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw just to see a different perspective than Gryffindor which i reckon will be the most popular
@LiamCroft in the Italian books they translated the names for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw as 'Red Badger' and 'Black Raven', so you're not the only one to get the colours confused.
@AFCC Do you have to be Slytherin to use that spell?
Fingers crossed the houses competition also means we're getting playable Quidditch!
Preferably a version you can play even outside of the story, for challenges/rewards.
@Rubssi I don't think so, but I think it fits the character more lol
