Ubisoft has elaborated a bit on its plans for Assassin's Creed Valhalla over the rest of spring. Earlier this week, Valhalla received a new update (you can read the full patch notes here) that added fresh Mastery Challenges and rewards, as well as support for the upcoming festival event. But as alluded, there's more coming in May.
Title Update 1.5.2 is scheduled for next month, and will give players the ability to build an armoury in their settlement. You'll be able to put your favourite sets on display, and you'll have the option of switching between these sets whenever you like. Equipment loadouts have been a much requested feature for a long time, so it's nice to see them finally happening — especially now that there are so many armour sets to choose from in Valhalla.
Fresh River Raids are also incoming, offering up yet more weapons and cosmetic items. "Return to River Raids with an all-new lineup of rewards, including a new bow, scythe, atgeir, hair, and facial hair options to be earned from your excursions," reads the official developer blog.
So, Valhalla's impressive support rolls on, but are you still playing? Ready your ship in the comments section below.

I wish Odyssey would have got this much love.
@Splat I'm waiting patiently on that Origins 60fps patch!
@ShogunRok I honestly feel like Valhalla is the weakest of the last three games. I don't dislike it. I put in over 100 hours into it. That said it didn't hook me like Origins and Odyssey did.
Have they improved the PS4 performance since launch?
@Nancyboy It's a lot better than it was — nowhere near as buggy — but it's still a bit rough at times. PS5 version definitely the way to go if you're lucky enough to have one.
@ShogunRok Thank you, sir. No PS5, not sure I’ll get one. My backlog is preposterous, all the way back to PS2 et al. So what am I considering? Buying another 100+ hour open world game. Dope.
Wow, this is a game that keeps on giving. My bang for the buck was incredible long before this update.
Very nice I'll happily take this.
@Splat Same here. I still enjoyed Valhalla (obviously since I played it once on my PS5 and once on my Series X for roughly 150 hours each), but Odyssey was my favorite game of the last generation. I will say Odyssey got some fantastic DLC, especially Fate of Atlantis, but it deserved as much support as Valhalla has gotten.
Still, it's hard to complain too much when they still continue to support a game I own and still will come back to for new content.
Loadouts should be one of the first updates we get. Anyway, I've been done with this game for months, announce the next one already xD
Loved odyssey and that title was the game that made me fall in love with the ac games all over again..i bought origins next but i'm holding off playing that until a 60fps patch appears..valhalla is awesome on the ps5 but its been put on the back burner because elden ring released and i got entrenched in that little game but i've only got a few trophys to clean up on elden ring and then its back to valhalla...and then maybe i can start on final fantasy 7 on the ps5..
